I'm still bummed out that we never got to see the Lexus LC F.

I just saw that post about the Lexus LFR being tested around a track, and i remembered that LC F prototype that had been spied a few years ago. Rumors mentioned a twin turbo V8. Let's get something straight. I can't afford a Lexus LC 500, but my god, what a damn shame that cancellation was. By all accounts, pretty much, the LC 500 is a great car, and it's gorgeous too. I can't imagine what the "sporty" version of that would be like. I'm not hating on the luxurious aspect of it, but I really wish we got to see what a dedicated performance variant of that is like. And a thing that really bugs me is i feel like since we first saw that thing, every single year that has passed, even after they reportedly cancelled it, it has been feeling more and more like the perfect time to release a "last hurrah" to celebrate cars exactly like it. Which only fuels my hopes that, somehow, they'll restart development yet once more, which reportedly happened multiple times in the previous years. Damn shame, but we'll probably never see it. Bonus: whatever happened to that [Lexus 86](https://www.carscoops.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Lexus-Coupe-1.jpg) anyway?
