In a world where everyone carries an HD video camera in their pocket at all times, somehow when it's a cryptid they're only ever able to get crappy low rez photos where you can't tell if it's real or just someone in a costume 🤔
The top comment has an unwarranted number of upvotes compared to historical activity on this sub. Especially considering it is low effort sniping. That reeks.
Exactly this. People either have not taken a photo with their phone at all or they always have time to set up their perfect shot. Evryone needs to pull out their phone and try to take good pictures of anything, but with hesitation before it goes away. Guarantee it will look like this. Much more if you zoom in

I agree and feel like a good one should pop up every now and again, but I can say as someone who does phone photography, people greatly over-estimate how good phone cameras are, especially when zoomed in to the max or in this case, exporting a frame from a video.
I find far less people carry the latest high definition camera equipped phones than you’d expect. Most people I know over 30 have like a 7+ year old iPhone, because keeping up with technology gets tedious. Even if they do have the latest phone, the digital zoom is usually horrific except in ideal lighting conditions, and things get blurry pretty easily. If someone is scared or excited and is shaking even a little bit that can especially impact the digital zoom so that images look terrible. I’ve also seen some phones have some kind of smoothing feature to try to deal with blurry, pixelated, zoomed in images. It doesn’t really make it look better — less pixelated, but seems like it’s just using the same information and trying to fill in the gaps.
TLDR: phone cameras aren’t that amazing, especially when heavily zoomed in. And many people don’t even have a phone with the latest cameras.
Yes. Cryptids and aliens somehow magically know when we are filming, and by means of otherworldly technology turn our files to a much worse quality than the accepted standard. They do this because reasons.
I’m not saying I think this is real, but we don’t know how far they zoomed in for this photo. Any modern camera gets blurry when zoomed in. Also this may be zoomed in after the photo was taken, causing it to be blurry
I am not sure people would be wise to stalk around woods in Bigfoot type costumes. As I am sure it would increase chances of being shot & injured or killed. I am assuming anyone strolling in big bear country will be suitably armed. Ready & aware to defend themselves. All those Hunters who possibly would like to be first to bag a Bigfoot. Not forgetting if a real Bigfoot spotted the pretend one. What might they do? If someone dressed as a tiger met a real one in the jungle I am sure it not end well. The real would know by smell & behaviour & sight & sound it not right.
No it's not a pic of big foot it's yet another shit pic of something humanoid that looks like someone hangin out in the woods fuck your in-laws bullshit.
I honestly think most sasquatch sightings are bears walking on two legs. You wouldn't believe how anthropomorphic bears are. I remember a long time ago when I lived in a very remote location in the woods, there was a night I saw something on two legs and it made thudding sounds. I just assumed it was a bear because I didn't have my glasses on and I'm sure it was.
I can't believe that people still want to pass off the cause of blurry pictures to last-minute sightings. If it was standing there long enough for someone to snap a pic, they could have whipped out the phone and had a hi res image. And, of course, the video was bad, too.
If there is a bigfoot, he can probably smell and hear you coming ling before you ran into it. All of these sightings are BS. When someone has a good video or a hi res still, then you can debate authenticity. Until then, tell the guy in the monkey suit it's hot, so take it off and go home.
