Hi fellow expats! I am canadian and i would love to move to a tropical destination. My two choices would be costa rica or dominican republic any thoughts or suggestions about what it implies?

Hi Jessica, i did not moved yet but explored the Dominicans. I also discovered a nice and stable country called Uruguay. I learned Spanish and started to invested my money. I calculated that within 10 years, i will be able to live off my dividend portfolio. Keeping the dream alive And you?

I'd like to move - but not alone... I'm still working a normal job and try to learn to invest in stocks but without a perspective/ knowing how to earn money there to be independent, I feel frightened. And this again is very sad.

Baby steps. Don’t know your age but you can surely plan accordingly. With Tarrifs looming along the way, it won’t be easy to invest in such environment. True that moving there alone is not as fun unless you’re a solitary person
