Love to see Jamie once again, but i also feel kinda sad to see that it's just a marketing cameo, i wish he did more actual informative content, like build or problem solving videos.
Doesn't really answer your question but he is active in Finland, I'm a student at LUT University and he's just chilling around the campus at time so it's cool to see him here, he also has a prototyping lab for students and holds competitions and lectures every year. Just a couple of months ago we had a prototyping class where we could go and show Jamie the fuckery we did for that course. He's a very nice guy :)
I know my chances of getting an answer on such an old post are slim to none, but has he been learning Finnish? He has a degree in Russian linguistics according to wikipedia and I'm curious lol.
To my understanding no although naturally he's picked up some random words to use like thank you etc for sure. Most finns speak English well and it's an incredibly hard language to learn up there with mandarin, Japanese etc so I don't think it makes sense for him since he doesn't permanently live here.
Was about to say that, I don't know his schedule, but my understanding is that he doesn't actually live in Finland. That he's only in Finland three times a year or something like that.
Ehy mate thank you very much, I will definitely put that page in my bookmarks and check it out every once in a while.
If you’ll ever get to talk to him please say that there’s a truckload of people that loves him out there and wish to see more of him inventing new things and solving problems :)
Okay I'll keep that in mind, I personally haven't talked to him one to one but I've been to his lectures which have been fun. Sometimes he's in person in the lecture hall and other times he's in California so he'll go on Zoom or something and appear as this floating head in space that floats around like the DVD sign back in the days lol. We like him here :)

From what I've been reading he's got way too much on his plate to do something like that.
