Mini me has an iPhone, an iPad, a computer, Sony noise canceling headphones as well as a Bose loudspeaker to carry around the house. Oh and a Spotify family subscription. Did I mention I’m among the top 13% Spotify listeners in my country so I know a thing or two about music So he asked me to buy him a record player, I said absolutely not for obvious reasons. He bought one with his pocket money + around 5 records He then tells me that he no longer manages to pair it with the Bose, therefore can I buy him cord based loudspeakers for Christmas I say absolutely not and pair his devices Two things - where’s the trope of your teenager being more tech savvy than their parent ? - why waste money on physical things when you have unlimited access to stream it on your mother’s subscription ? Smh at this generation
