PipeWire users, are you happy (compared to Pulseaudio) ?

I am running audio currently with Pulseaudio on Ubuntu 20.04.3, but I have too many sound issues.
Sound starts to crackle sometimes. I have to restart the audio service. Some other times, I get no sound at all and there is no work-around except for rebooting.
I am thinking of switching to PipeWire. Any users to moved to PipeWire ? Is it stable enough ?
I am using a TuxedoComputer, Aura15, AMD chipset.

yes I am using pipewire with 3 bluetooth earbuds the plug and play is fabulous.
Is there any solution to bluetooth earbuds going mono audio in handsfree mode in order to use mic and audio at the same time.
I read in some posts its related to bandwidth limitation of particular device/linux.

Arch/Manjaro user here with 0 problems with pipewire and fully satisfied and more than happy, easyeffects are amazing and is compatible with all audio tools, made for jack, made for pulse, alsa only working, you name you got it in pipewire and with qpwgrapth you can connect audio devices, sinks, capture, playback, independent app, with a easy to use gui where you literally plug pipes form one device to another just like a video-game, super versatile.

Works just fine in 2024

I was a pulseaudio + JACK user until I switched to Pipewire.
Much happier with how Pipewire functions for my needs. My praises are more QoL improvements rather than actual audio quality, at least personally.
If I didn't use my computer for live audio stuff, I would probably have never cared. Pulse, despite the issues others have, has always been stable and never given me issues.
I do exclusively use ThinkPads, though.

Pipewire just fixed my crackling bluetooth audio. Pulseaudio seem to have garbage-tier support for bluetooth. This is a big problem if Pulseaudio want to stay relevant since bluetooth audio is increasingly common. Apple alone is soon selling 100 million airpods per year.
