Multitools

Who's repping a multitool on their belt? What's your brand, model, and why? I'm looking at leatherman, Gerber and sog as I often find myself needing some basic things in the truck - particularly box cutter, pliers, screwdriver etc. I have an adequate toolkit but I don't really want to bust it out for quick things

My only complaint so far on the wingman would be that the knife doesn't easily open one handed. The sprung pliers are very good

Leatherman P4 but I have a good collection of different Leatherman MT. If I find myself using a tool often enough I buy a proper one to keep in the truck.

I have used most of the different brands over the years. Since the Leatherman Wave came out, it is the one I carry daily. Not saying anything is wrong or bad with the others, just that the wave does all I need on a day to day basis.

I almost bought the wave today but settled on the slightly smaller wingman. Clips nicely into pocket and easily accessible. Leatherman seems to be the brand of choice amongst everyone I've asked Unlikely to use 2/3rd of the tools on there, but the more compact ones all had fairly small plier heads and seemed like they would lack leverage

I have an OG Leatherman, TBH it's not that useful for me outside of the cab. I try to minimize the amount of stuff I bring in a daycab. A few Specialized tools are more useful and way less effort.

My truck is a mobile showroom so I spend most of my days in the back. Opening boxes and prying seals off drums is a regular and I'm constantly misplacing my boxcutter and pliers. Ideally, this should either be always in my pocket or in my hand...ideally

I have a tiny one I keep in my pocket. It's ugly orange, because they didn't come in any girl colors. Like who the fuck else would buy such a teeny, tiny cute one? Huh, not a dude!

Skeletal Leatherman, use it a few times daily, without fail. Serrated knife, screw driver, pliers... anything more than that.. I have a toolbag for.

Yep this one is on my shortlist. They all have so many different variations it's hard to know what you'll realistically use, and how bulky they might be in the hand/pocket
