I have a petty debate with a friend. I am on the side that a logically correct 4 barrel blunderbuss would explode. Is there anyone who knows far more about guns and history that could explain it in a way to win an argument against an idiot?
Unfortunately for you, I think it would function just fine in theory. There are historically authentic double barrel blunderbuss out there, as well as flintlock pepperbox revolvers. Not common or practical but not exploding either.
I think the real reason that multi barrel blunderbuss are rare is they must be very bulky and heavy. Not good features for a close quarters defensive weapon. So you could argue that at least!
