Change date format in Sharepoint online/why am I so stupid

It's got to be me right? There's no way I can't figure out how to change the global region settings in Sharepoint/on the whole tenant? This is still a thing right, I can change how the date appears to all users in Sharepoint online? I swear I've googled my tits off and either I'm having one of those days or this is per user now or something

If you're talking about the timezone/region for each SharePoint site, this is maintained on a per site level. The global setting in SharePoint admin centre only updates the default for any new site created. It doesn't amend any existing sites. If you want to change this for all sites across your tenant, you best dust off your PnP/SPO powershell modules!

You idea of a good format is not everybody else's idea of a good format. > per user now Window date format, and other localised settings format has been a per user setting for over 25 years. TLDR: Configure your clients correctly.

Probably because it's using the wrong date format for the country. Sharepoint online date settings isn't set at a user level.

That's what I meant, just wanted everyone who logs into Sharepoint online to see modified dates in D/M/Y but I'm gathering that it's per site and can't be changed globally across all sites
