What’s the minimum amount you’d need in a Lottery win to “semi-retire”?

500k would work for me, my house was 140k and has 118k left on it so that's a relatively easy security, 5k will pay off the car, 16k will pay off the wife's car, 12k to pay off her credit cards from another life. Invest the rest straight into some all world fund. Our jobs both have people in them working 22 hours a week, since we're both on circa 2.5k a month the moment and the cars and house take ~ 1300 total and her credit cards are another ~300 we can maintain slightly more than half of our combined income by working part time and with the main bills deleted we would be able to continue adding to the investment towards retirement. We would have to drop the miscellaneous spending a bit but we're pretty wasteful so that would be easy. We would probably move to North Whales and get a bit more house for our money, two dogs. What a dream. 1m and we can quit our current jobs and work at a store or something. She would love to be a Vets receptionist and I would quite like to work at a Halford doing little bits of straight forward mechanic work. A great deal different from our current work.
