Want a honest review on Shecodes? Has anyone taken the course recently ? I want to do it but worried …

Don't do it. I paid for the full course, but I still have a lot more learning to do. It only teaches you the basics of coding. It was expensive like 1.2k. You can learn the basics of coding for free.

I highly agree with you the curriculum is not worth it of its amount. Its a gimmicky product. the guy teaching has worked in Microsoft for 5 months and did what every faang person does for personal branding that is make a course sell it make it women centric include some charity to include the woke people.
please people save yourself from this heavily marketed product. their are very good free resources. tech is really a industry where people genuinely create free courses to help other people out and other just make expensive paid course (becoz a lot of people are willing to pay insane amounts for it)
if anyone wants some free resource link pls reply to this...

Hey, thank you so much for this!! This helps me alot! I have another question if u don’t mind .. for getting certifications are W3 schools certificates valid/accredited or would you suggest getting it from somewhere else ? Please , let me know ..thank you
MaleficentCurve4342@reddit
in case of full stack development your projects are of utmost importance,
certifications aren't given much consideration.

MaleficentCurve4342@reddit

Hi, can I know what resources would you recommend please! Let’s start with JavaScript as I don’t want to overcomplicate my mind with multiple suggestions. Thank you.

This has links and documentation for anything you want to learn in tech. But for learning Javascript i would highly suggest you to refer video tutorials and documentation which helps you understand how things are processed and how the code works. Javascript uses dsa concepts which are necessary to understand.

I just did the basics course but I'm greatly impressed. I came with 0 knowledge and the learning was really simple and smooth, uncomplicated. For my type of learning preference, the way the videos show you and then you do it was top. If you're more a self-learner, you may not need it, but if you prefer some guidance, it's a great choice. I'm now singing up to Python.

This link gets 20% off any shecodes course... and the occasional 30% off if you're lucky! https://www.shecodes.io/Stephaniejay_uk

I completely disagree. Sounds like you didn’t put the work in. I even had knowledge on coding before joining. It simplified it and encouraged you to learn from scratch. Considering there’s several sites to cheat code, which will help you build a bitch ass website short term. I can’t tell you how many men told me it’s a waste of time and money because they all suggested these cheat sites. She codes teaches you how to code from the basics and builds your knowledge rapidly. I highly recommend.

I think some of the men feel threatened 😆

Hi! Did you do the max course ?
AO0817@reddit
You get what you put in. The course is thorough. Especially for someone with no previous knowledge. If you speed through the lessons and dont absorb any of the information, or you don't take it serious, you won't get anything out of it. Use it as a stepping stone into code. I learned a lot from it and definitely found it to be worth the go.
Maleficent-Hope5356@reddit
So far, I am enjoying it! The lessons are easy to understand and each week you have some challenges to complete. I believe the full course provides you with a good starting point to get basic knowledge and create a simple portfolio.
As Remarkable-Table-843 mentioned, you could try to learn on your own for free, but I tried that and didn't succeed. SheCodes provides the structure I need to stay focused.
Excuse my English, I am not native.
