Priceless loads

I see more loads on dat and truckstop without rates posted. Is that the default sign that a load wont pay anything and not worth calling? Im starting out on my own (power only) this week and have been eyeballing the load boards and dont get why there are so many without rates.

Some brokers want you to offer them a price first so they can respond “hey boss, all I have in this is $1.40 pm”. And good luck with PO loads, you’re going to dead head and sit a lot. If you can’t afford to buy a trailer, try renting one asap. With PO it’s ether Amazon sweatshop hauling for pennies, or odd jobs. I’m assuming you’re independent OO not fleece operator under another MC.

Thanks, yeah im OO and i want to get a trailer sooner than later but want to just get rolling a little before i do that plus i need to find somewhere to park it. I worked as a company driver for amazon for 3 years and made 80k i figured on my own it would have to go up from there?
