Oh damn if it’s Hugh Laurie still then we good, if you’ve not seen avenue 5 I highly recommend it, I think everyone just kills their roles. Hopefully it’s good.
I thought they were good but that’s probably because I always thought Cuddy was evil. Like toxic as House is he tries to change and is genuinely kind of good.
She enables his addiction for prestige and treated him like a yo-yo romantically.
If there’s one thing I want addressed in a reboot it’s that she was worse than him.
I remember one episode where he was running again and off the Vicadin and they hid from him his success on a patient treatment upsetting the delicate balance of his recovery to basically teach him a lesson.
So many of House's problems were literally psychosomatic and for all that he was dancing on the edge of a malpractice lawsuit for his arrogance sometimes, every time he actually tried it was like people banded together against him.

You put your PC in sleep and Windows updates is on. Fuck that shit. I bricked my Windows updates thing after a few nights of doing that. Thankfully they have made it really easy to reinstall Windows and keep all your stuff and settings (well, 99% of them) so I was able to unbrick and disable updates in a less destructive way. I recommend this: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/8013-enable-disable-windows-update-automatic-updates-windows-10-a.html (option 3 is the easiest)
I would feel more inclined to use my pc when it's instantly read to use than when it's shut off. Since I have fast boot disabled, it took me 16 seconds to boot and another 10 seconds or so to load logon apps on an nvme (PNY CS3030)
Most of the methods for disabling windows updates do not work if you have a home version sadly. Everything you turn off just turns itself back on next time there's an update MS wants to push.
Upgrading Home to Pro doesn't require a full reinstall, just go to Settings>Update & Security>Activation and click Change Product Key, put in your key for Pro, and your machine will reboot, download extra stuff, and unlock the Pro features.
#FUCK SLEEP MODE
It stores your state in a stupid volatile memory which will get fucked the longer it goes on. I had my windows corrupted too many times, few over accident (lid put it to sleep while it's shutting down).
Windows is configured to do it's maintenance things (defragment, registry optimizations, windows updates, virus scans, etc.) when PC is idling and not being used.
I had this same issue and while others are saying it's a Windows update or antivirus scan, the problem for me was that one of my USB devices was refreshing. You can run a command prompt script you can fetch online (I don't remember what I used) that tells you what USB device woke the computer from sleep, and from there you can disable its ability to wake the computer from Device Manager. I disabled this on all of my USB devices except for my keyboard so I can still wake my computer by pressing a key. Haven't had issues ever since.
So, they thought my mom had lupus. Turns out, there's not many tests for it, they have to rule out a slew of other disorders and syndromes first.
Long story short, it was Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, not lupus. Makes ligaments elastic, and is autoimmune as well.... Makes you hyperflexible, at the cost of great pain.
You know those contortionists that can sit on their head? Most of them have it, and when it's that severe, as you start aging your joints can just slip out of socket. Most of them are in wheelchairs before 30, and are nearly constant physical pain.
My mom's isn't quite that severe, but she had to have surgery on both her knees to keep them from locking out at -40° (yes, backwards 40°)
It's genetic, and tends to hit women harder than men. I'm a 43yo man, and I've got a couple tricky joints. My left shoulder has slipped out under load a couple times, and it's getting to the point where I can't use my left arm for heavy tasks.
This is good advice, OP.
Try to strengthen your rotator cuffs as well. Your shoulders are pretty complex joints but a little strength training goes a long way towards avoiding injury.
