Want to sell a car but no title. Is there anything I can do?

First car bought with my dad around 10 years ago. He never signed the car over to me, lost the title, and is now in jail so would probably be pretty rough to impossible getting a notarized signature from him to the DMV. The car is fully mine and has been in my possession for the whole 10 years. His state is OK, mine is MO The car has been getting too expensive to maintain for what it’s worth so I went and got a new car. I’ve heard I can sell it to some cash for junk cars kinda guy but would get significantly less money from that than a legitimate sale, so I would like to avoid that if possible.
