Michael Jackson was so obviously guilty, why are so many Americans so thick or incapable of reading people?

I'm assuming this is just a joke right? Have you talked to an American about this. Maybe older people who watched him grow up in the limelight dont see it. But I'm in my mid 30's it is widely known that he was a creep. He named a child blanket. Everyone is pretty well aware that he wasn't well. Now, if its just separating an artist from their art argument. I do feel like his music is still prevalent throughout the country. Which I'm not in support of, but many people who grew up with it, dont want to give it up. Then in terms of the recent movie that came out, I know nothing about that, didn't care to know a single thing about it. It my viewpoint, I guess people are most likely drawn to that because of the train wreck that was his personal life. Good lord does this country love a good horrifying story about someone's life. I dont see the appeal, myself, but im well aware that its big attention grabber in this country. I was raised in the Jehovah's Witness's, like the Jackson family, and I feel no need to relive that abuse.
