Gemma 4 Unified is coming

I've seen people say this, but I feel like Qwen 3.6 is just as good as Gemma 4 as a generalist model. Gemma has nice prose and is definitely more creative, but I struggled to get the 26B to even use my web search tool in open-webui despite a really specific policy on always using web search for grounding. I've been using the Qwen 35B MoE instead for general tasks (just the typical kind of stuff like research, summarization, etc.) and it feels a lot better than Gemma 4 to me. I did only give the 26B-A4B model a go though, maybe the 31B is different.
