Honda HRV thoughts?

I've been on the hunt for a Subaru Impreza for my son, but for under $13k we are not really finding what we want (mid-miles, good condition, mechanically excellent).
We wanted him to have AWD because he's going to live in snow for the first time, and I found this Honda HRV. I know they were not well loved, but hear me out.
He currently drives a subcompact and actually loves it. Honda HRV is built on a Fit platform which we all know is phenomenal. One owner clean carfax car with a full lifetime of dealer service records.
Am I missing anything?

I believe its years 2016-2020 that has transmission issues. If the records show the transmission was actually serviced at least every 25-30k miles then thats good. If it records dont reflect that I would worry. Make sure to get a PPI before you buy though!
