I was dry firing and i had mistakenly thought i put my pistol back into its holster but didnt and i dropped it on its rear sight, but when i dry fire my muscle memory makes it feel like it goes back to zero (idk if its accurate lol)
Im worried if i js have to go to a gunsmith and get this fixed, i havent gone to the range yet to check for zero, do yall think it moved or nah, i dropped it from waist height.

Ah damn... Thise sights are toast now....Time for new tritium sights.... 🤣
Perfect excuse to hit the range to test fire.... ☺️

Probably fine. Go out and shoot it if you’re worried.

And now it has a scratch that only you know about and it bothers you and consumes you because it was so fresh just seconds ago.
I know, brother it’s the first nick that hurts the most

Damn man, be careful, might be broke now. I’ll do you a solid though, lemme get that and I’ll take care of disposal. No charge, just trying to help a guy out.

The sight is clearly not centered in the dovetail, for what that's worth. If it wasn't that way before you dropped it then the POI is probably off.
Check zero with live fire and go from there.

Yeh it happens. If your sight moved from that it'd probably be moving from shooting too.

I've adjusted sights with a sight pusher before and you need A LOT of leverage to drift them a little. I suspect it didn't even budge.

You're fine.
