Do we realise that the Russian state healthcare is, at present, better than the NHS?

Do we realise that the Russian state healthcare is, at present, better than the NHS?
Funny_Addendum4430@reddit (OP)
The NHS is like a religious and people of the UK wouldn’t dream of criticising it. but it’s grossly underfunded and underperforming.
OAB_67@reddit
Yet the UK spends twice much as Russia per head on healthcare, and that's in purchasing power adjusted money.
rhetoricalcalligraph@reddit
People in the UK criticise the NHS all the time. And that's our right. We pay for it via taxes. Think you're here for reactions, that's cool, I get bored on Tuesday afternoons too.
Jixxie87@reddit
That would be based on what exactly?
Independent-Try4352@reddit
A quick look at healthcare indices shows the UK significantly ahead of Russia on all metrics.
scarybluesquirrel@reddit
I’ve experienced both. If you think Russian state healthcare is better and want to try your luck, you crack on.
Funny_Addendum4430@reddit (OP)
Yes: waiting lists, delay till surgery etc. I’m British
peterbparker86@reddit
You're not British. You sound nor write like a Brit.
JonS90_@reddit
By two time-based metrics, much lower by every medical metric
Slight-Brush@reddit
Source?
Longjumping-Equal895@reddit
Sure wait times are falling when loads of people are DOA which means more resources for ones who aren’t dead so ye makes sense
humanityisdyingfast@reddit
Nice try Dimitri
redandbluebadness@reddit
I do not realise that but if you're going to make threads like this you do kinda need to present some evidence - and people are not likely to accept Russian state sourced data as fact in any case.
MrMonkeyman79@reddit
Cool, i'm happy where I am however
CompetitionNo3466@reddit
Good for them. The wait times are improving and we don’t have to pay. Having free healthcare makes everyone’s lives a lot easier, and most brits will defend the NHS like they would the team they support. We’re almost all born in NHS hospitals and will likely die in them as well and whichever prime minister privatises it in the future will be remembered badly for the rest of the future of the UK
OllyDee@reddit
Good for them I guess?
f23n09fnu0w@reddit
lol
mrs_peep@reddit
Got a non-Russian source for that?
geesegoosegeesegoose@reddit
I can't say I know much about Russian state healthcare.
