Dry your whole body with a leaf blower

No towel dries you 100%. After taking the bulk off with a towel, fix a leaf blower in place and stand in front of it. Change the height to body segments. Easy.

I do this after cutting the grass and weed wacking. My legs are usually covered in specks of grass and sweat.
I dry off my legs with the leaf blower. Rub the dry grass on my legs that remains, and 99% of it falls off.

Also works when you get covered in snow. Depending on what kind of snow you get, a blower can clean off your car real fast.

Serious LPT to an unserious idea:
I’ve discovered that doing an initial towel dry with a hand towel followed by a second dry with a regular bath towel will make me feel way drier.
The small towel gets you 80% dry and gets sopping wet in the process (wring it out in the sink), then the bath towel finishes the job but never gets so wet that it feels clammy. Additional benefit: your bath towel doesn’t get nearly as smelly because it dries faster.

I’ve always squeegeed the excess water off my body with my hands before I exit the shower, you’d be surprised how much drier you and your towel are after
stay_fr0sty@reddit
Added LPT: when you are done with the small towel, use it to take 10 seconds and wipe down the shower in the areas prone to mold.
Since I’ve developed this habit, my caulking lasts longer and mold is non-existent.

Legendary pro move. Going to start doing that tomorrow

I remember stopping at a car wash in LA on a road trip when I was a kid and they dried off the cars with leaf blowers lol

Use a hair dryer, it works surprisingly well
slimdrum@reddit
Couldn't you just use a hair dryer?
SoggyMeatloaf69@reddit
I bet it would feel good dryin' off the ole' ass crack
burns_before_reading@reddit
You have wet ass issues?
Nate_Christ@reddit
This dude doesn't wash his ass in the shower

Hair dryers exist
stay_fr0sty@reddit
Hair dryers are puny and weak. Leaf blowers are next level.

Maybe put a coil inside it so you can choose to make the air cool, warm, or hot. And maybe make it smaller so you can hold it in one hand. Personally I would use something like this to dry off my hair, because towel drying that is always insufficient.
Why haven’t they made something like this before?
gravelpi@reddit
Since it's indoors, might as well make it able to plug into a wall so there's no battery to worry about.
lillildipsy@reddit
lugging that thing around still sounds cumbersome, maybe we should make it smaller somehow
Matrinka@reddit
I want a drying tube. Step in and let the powered air dry me off.

The had or have this. There was high power fan that blew from the ceiling to dry you off. The isssye was that you just blew all the water that was on you all over the bathroom. It was also surprising slow. You could stand under them but I still ended up using a towel.

I can't hear you. What did you say?

"Whole body dyson airblade" would be a room in my dream house.
Avehdreader@reddit
What would be incredibly helpful is i someone could use a 3d printer to make an adjustable stand to hold it in place - or even rotates up and down on its own!

I’ve always wondered about installing one of those dryers at the end of the car wash in my bathroom that I can just walk though
thatsabruno@reddit
Gym I used to go to had one of those hand dryers mounted high by the showers and it was so nice to dry off with that. When I "make it" my shower will have one of those drive-through car wash exit blowers.
SpatiaCaeli@reddit
I use mine to clear dust out of my computer kbd.
EyeofEnder@reddit
Like those whole body drying devices in waterparks and such?

A heated version exists…

It wouldn't be a leaf blower then.

I don’t need my ballsack whipping all over the place.

What if she’s busy?
Turbojelly@reddit
You need 2 towels to dry yourself. First towel gets you from wet to damp, then the towel is damp and wont dry you further. Second towel will get you from damp to dry.
Hooln@reddit (OP)
Or hear me out: one extra powerful leaf blower!
liberal_texan@reddit
I'll see your offer and counter with three towels.

Aka a Body Dryer, starting from £150
xxsoulpunkedxx@reddit
Or even better, create a gadget kinda like that for the shower that dries you entirely before you even step out
burns_before_reading@reddit
I just let myself air dry for 10 mins after showers
CowBoyDanIndie@reddit
Solid shower stall that has dehumidifier and blower, dry your body and the shower at the same time to prevent mildew.
makzee@reddit
That's like those Dyson hand dryers in public bathrooms!
