Looking for advice for loss thread.

Looking for advice from experienced mechanics.
While replacing the brake pads, I removed the two bolts that secure the brake caliper bracket (adapter). During reassembly, I accidentally applied too much torque to one of the bolts and stripped the female threads in the mounting hole.
At this point, I'm considering a few options:
- Replace the caliper/bracket assembly.
- Repair the threads using a thread repair insert (Heli-Coil or Time-Sert).
- Use a high-strength thread locker such as Loctite 271 (although I'm concerned this may not be a safe repair for a brake component).
Since this is a critical brake-related part, I want to make sure the repair is safe and reliable. What would you recommend? Has anyone successfully repaired stripped caliper bracket threads, or is replacement the better option?
Thanks in advance.

Replace the stripped part, also check the threads on the bolt and buy a new one if there's any doubt at all.
Brakes are one of the things you absolutely do not want to half-ass as they are keeping you alive.
Loctite is not a thread repair, you're thinking about that wrong.
And take it from me - having a caliper come loose and lock up the wheel is NOT a happy fun time experience, and it WILL also cause $$$$ of damage to the wheel/hub/etc. as well as causing you to need to re-upholster the driver's seat and buy new pants... assuming you didn't just die in the crash.

Dam hulk how tight did you torque it to mess up the threads lol but in all seriousness get a new bracket, relatively inexpensive for a critical part of the vehicle

Replace the caliper bracket.

And buy a torque wrench.

Replace the caliper.
New is best, used/salvage is fine but disassemble, clean, and property lubricate the slide pins.
Be sure to bleed that brake with a friend stomping on the pedal until there's no more bubbles or air coming out, snd the pedal is nice and hard, then add more brake fluid to the reservoir.
Consider Detroit axle on ebay.
They have decent parts for good prices.

I am not an experienced mechanic just at home diy but if it was my car there's no way I wouldn't just replace the bracket. Maybe like $100 depending on the model? Gives you the best peace of mind and the least time consuming with pretty low cost.
Did you use an impact to tighten? Those things have to be on pretty tight from my experience so imagine its not the easiest thing to
