Looking for advice on upgrading my PC (GPU + PSU + maybe more)

Hey everyone,
I’m planning to upgrade my PC and wanted to get some opinions before I buy anything so I don’t mess up my build or waste money.
Current specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500
GPU: Radeon RX 6600 (8GB)
RAM: 32GB
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B450M-A II
PSU: 350W
What I want to upgrade for:
Better performance in games (mostly 1080p, maybe 1440p later)
NVIDIA GPU for CUDA
Planned upgrades so far:
PSU upgrade: 650W
NVIDIA GPU (not sure which one fits best)
Also I do want to upgrade the case purely for the looks of the "new build" (i currently have an old dell case)
I’m definitely open to suggestions and different upgrade paths. I have a micro center nearby.

The PSU upgrade should be priority #1 honestly. A quality 650W–750W unit gives you way more flexibility and I'd be hesitant to put a stronger GPU on a 350W PSU.

350w is the real bottleneck here -- most cards above an rx 6600 pull more than that alone under load. youd want at least a 650w psu before thinking about any gpu upgrade.
for the gpu itself, with a 5500 on pcie 3.0, something like a used 6700 xt or a 3060 ti would be the sweet spot. no point overspending on bandwidth you cant fully use.
whats your overall budget looking like?
