“Best” or recommended case under 150 CAD

Hi! Yesterday finally I pulled the trigger on an upgrade for my pc.
It will be a 850-e mobo, 32gb of ram, 9070 xt with 9800x3d with air cooling, not AIO.
It will be my first build in a while but I was concerned about the pc case!
I have a budget of around 150CAD and was wondering which one to pick.
Are case fans that important? Saw a Corsair 4000D on sale than comes with 3 fans.
Thanks!!

Hard to beat the value, airflow, and quality of the Lancool 207.

There isn't an objective best, if there was we'd all be using the same case. Most of us pick a case based on aesthetics, so pick whichever one looks best to you.
You can check fitment by creating a build list on www.pcpartpicker.com, or you can check the cooler and case specs.

I’ll take a look. Thanks. I was concerned cause I had prebuilt and temps were so bad. So I might have a trauma lol

If you stretch a couple of bucks, this case is top 3 for best cooling out of box.

The best out of the box thermals was the lancool 207 when gamers nexus did a overview (I personally got mine at CC) and its like 120 CAD https://youtu.be/2gCFdN7J4sk?si=gsVw0KGSEAH3n3fz&t=1251 The lancool 216 they mention is 150$ but would be over with tax. Feel free to also just pick something you like the look of, it shouldn't matter that much unless you pick one of the fishbowls with very bad airflow.

Case fans aren't really that important, cause you can get a 5 pack of Arctic P12 for like $30.
I'd just make sure you don't get something ultra cheap and fragile with like 0.5mm panels or something. It will feel cheap and you will most likely regret it.
You can easily get quality cases for $80 though, you don't really need a $150 case.

Thank you so much for the reply! Which one would you think around 80? Saw Montech brand I think that was cheap?

I can't really recommend something I haven't tried myself, and anyways cases are such a personal choice. I mainly build mATX these days and lately I've used the Lian Li A3 and Deepcool CH160 Plus, which are both great.
I'd check out Gamersnexus on YouTube and see if they have a review of a case you're looking at, and make an informed choice off of that.

cases are mostly fancy wind tunnels, so mesh front + 2-3 decent fans matters. 4000d airflow is fine, but i'd grab a lancool 216 if it's near $150.
