High powered lightweight car is a super fun concept. Too bad the ones who can afford these will probably never take it out to the track or anything. Also, would you have to lift that latch to put the car in reverse every single time? That seems a bit annoying.
Last year during Monterey Car Week, I pulled off at a random exit to get gas. As I'm about to get there, I see one of these leaving. Naturally I go nuts and decide to see it through a little bit of traffic just to hear it. 1200/10 honestly. Sounds as good as it looks.
I really think this one will be driven, way more than the super low slung hypercars. It's for the car enthusiasts who happen to be very rich, more so than the rich ones who happen to invest in cars
It’s faster, wider, and more refined to wealthy palates but is completely and totally uninteresting to me.
Give me a real GTA with 160-170 horsepower, with some Alfaholics lightweight bits, on Pirelli CN36 vintage tires. That’s all the buzz and thrill I need, for half the price.
It’s missing the point entirely. Look at an Alfaholics car, the essence of the 105 is maintained while improving on it. This thing is ass. The quadrifoglio stem is supposed to point towards the rear on both sides of the car. They couldn’t even get that basic detail right of the car they’re supposedly paying homage to.
Good luck explaining that to people who have never experienced the cars- I drove a GTV five minutes ago, a 330 GTC five minutes before that, an Alfa 102 before that.
These likely arent available in the US at all. Singers need to keep the chassis shell intact to be able to sell them in the US, as its legally, the car.
There are low build number exemptions in the EU/UK - hence why they are able to get things like the Atom/BAC Mono street legal from the factory - while we have to go through the kit-car rigamarole.
Who knows? The entire chassis is bespoke to the car, the engine is already mounted farther back than a GTV.
Im not even saying they should just throw a Busso in it - the engine in the car is developed in house by Totem and is a 3.2L 60 degree DOHC V6, they obviously have the technical know how to develop entire engine packages.

$600,000 USD.
Who is buying these?
furrynoy96@reddit
Rich people
rugbyj@reddit
Yeah you just need to catch one or two big fish a year at that rate to cover your shop/expenses/presumably small team.
Bonerchill@reddit
This car needed millions in initial investment.
It needs to sell 5-10 per year.
MRDR1NL@reddit
Wirh bad taste
Beranea@reddit
What do you mean? It's gorgeous.
MRDR1NL@reddit
The outside looks great. but the interior looks horrible in my opinion
Beranea@reddit
Ah I didn't look at interior, I saw exterior and got distracted lol
tordenflesk@reddit
Interior designer didn't know when to stop designing.
narwhal_breeder@reddit
The color combo definitely doesnt do it any favors - but im sure that you can ask for whatever colors you want.

There is so much money out there, and a seemingly unquenchable thirst for toys. The idle rich have a lot of free time.
HoldingForGenova@reddit
worth every penny.
caterham09@reddit
The better question is who is driving these. We know who's buying them. It's the same people buying everything else that's super expensive.
Whats a bigger mystery is the people driving these cars designed to be impeccable driving experiences. I think they just sit in vaults

Same people who buy any other 700hp carbon tubbed and carbon bodied cars with carbon ceramics.
smitcal@reddit
Ok, no hyperbole but that car is fucking perfect. As long as it has air con. I also need to start making an insane amount of money
TerribleNameAmirite@reddit
I absolutely would buy this over an SF90.
StrangeSmellz@reddit
Poor people.

Bloated, overwrought, and lacking character.

Alfas are wonderful things.
intuitive_banana@reddit
How is this road legal in Europe or the US?
The donor didn't have a carbon tub????
masterventris@reddit
Easy, it isn't registered as an Alfa, it is registered as a Tote Automobili.
There is a carve out in the regulations for super low build numbers. They do not need to meet any safety or emissions rules.
intuitive_banana@reddit
No, I don't think that is true at all
In the US I am 100% sure it's registered as the original 1970s Alfa donor.
In Europe or the US there are strict rules regarding what you can and can't do. Europe is worse.
Most of these restomods keep as little as the donor as possible. But this keeps none.
Professional-Form275@reddit
They actually keep a single latch from the donor vehicle 😂

I don't care what it costs.
Will they take a check?
narwhal_breeder@reddit
Woha - full carbon monocoque. This thing goes pretty far beyond even something like a Singer.
praetor47@reddit
if i were rich, i'd ask for a 250-300hp engine, max, and make this my daily. not everything needs 5 billion horsepower
narwhal_breeder@reddit
Alfaholics GTA-R is right up your alley - they massage the twin-spark to 240BHP and looks like an absolute riot.
daxelkurtz@reddit
Not at all disagreeing - just noting that the Alfaholics GTA-R weighs 1/3 less (1830lbs vs 2660 for the Jokermobile Turismo here)
komrobert@reddit
I don’t see how you’d fit an N/A 500hp engine into that bay tbh. Saw it in person, small car
narwhal_breeder@reddit
There’s a few 500hp NA Bussos around - definitely smaller than an entire twin turbo setup. Even 400hp would be biblically fast in this thing.
FlorydaMan@reddit
Wouldn't a Busso require a much longer front overhang?
narwhal_breeder@reddit
