I'm not a driver but my BIL is. I also live near the infamous Louisville Can Opener. (I-65 will closed in Louisville for major construction for at least two months)[https://i65centralcorridor.com/]. (Please don't feed the Can Opener)[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=taU9lpp8YR8]!

Cheese and rice. 🤦♂️ I get a little nervous when it's anything under 14 ft. There's a bridge or two near Memphis (I-55?) that are signed at something like 13'8", and I thought for sure I was going to hit it with a 13'6" trailer because it looked so low. How the hell people misjudge it when it's even lower completely baffles me.

11'8"and it happens at least once a week.

I don’t get how a bridge can have a WEEKLY issue and not figure out some way to fix it.

The bridge doesn't have an issue. The truck companies and their insurance policies do.

There are already more than 20 warning signs and a height-detection system, but the city's talking about what else they can do.

RR has priority, and you can't exactly build approach ramps for the tracks.
