Well yeah that would be peak, wouldn't it. But all your information infrastructure, the app stores, OS developers, Alphabet, internet service providers, every layer in the stack is completely owned by private interests who are directly opposed to social revolution. Investors also have class consciousness, and they will do anything do maintain their dominance within certain social hierarchies. This would include withholding access, buying you out, doing negative publicity against you, spinning off a competitor as controlled opposition to crowd you out of the market, or anything else. They probably wouldn't have to go as far as sending somebody to assassinate you but they would definitely do it if it came to that.
