Am i wrong for thinking that harassment and violence against supporters of a political party are wrong, even if they party has made tremendous damage to most of the population?

A female acquaintance of mine supported SNS (Serbian progressive party) She is being psychologically harassed by several of her student dorm mates. They hide her belongings, play music to annoy her when she learns, wake her up while she's sleeping, and do similar things.
Let's not kid ourselves: supporting the SNS machine that is responsible for the Novi Sad canopy collapse, the deaths of 16 people, a tram derailing, corruption, worst criminals and rapists being protected by the police, violence, and many other things deserves every bit of criticism.
In my view, this is not a question of political preference but of a mafia criminal system versus the people.
That said, the question remains: is harassment and violence a justified response toward SNS voters and people who support that party?
What about nazi sympatisers?
If you saw someone beating a woman on the street because she supports SNS, nazi party, Trump, would you stop them? What if someone was beating an SNS or in 1939 nazi party supporter simply because they voted for that party? I find this an extremely interesting topic for discussion. The question may sound stupid to some people, but I think there are probably many different ways of looking at it.
So, AITA for thinking that even people whose political views I strongly disagree with should not be harassed or physically attacked because of those views, even if those views are responsible for the deaths of countless of people?

Lots of people will use political affiliation as an excuse to act like bullies and generally be asses, always been the case.

No, but why does she, who's a student, support SNS?

either benefiting from the party or family in the party

No you're not, I hate SDA from the bottom of my heart but would never support harassing or beating up their supporters.

Lynching and violence aren’t justified unless it’s in direct defense response.

I would not bother them like that. That's a bit childish tbh. But I do not respect them and would not hesitate to eliminate them politically speaking.
I am a Communist so for me my opponents are fascist and neoliberals. If fact my biggest critique to the left is that they are too nice. You don't fight an enemy that uses all means to achieve their ends with unicorns and rainbows, that's just idiotic.

Company with limited (lack of) responsibility or a kirby tier multi level marketing cult should not be considered a normal political party.
Violence against non-violent lawful protestors, perpetrators and the supporters of that violence, be they silent or loudly encouring it, deserve no sympathy.
Pretending to be naive or not benefiting from party membership is akin to communist party members in ex Yu that were bullshiting each other and themselves. Everybody knew about weekend houses, seaside mansions, benefits in salaries, jobs quality, employment, etc.

Wrong how? Ethical or legal? Probably not wrong either way

In my opinion yes since bad policies affect us all, if you support the regime you support the oppression of ur own people. She certainly has some benefits from joining the party, doubt its ideological.
Democracy has many flaws since 51% can rule over the rest. Socrates viewed Athenian democracy as a dangerous form of "mob rule" where emotional rhetoric easily swayed uneducated citizens.
