You’re right. Actually, his first episode directed was In Theory in season 4. I could have sworn he said in an interview A Fistful of Datas was his first opportunity to direct.

Ok so we talk about Khan's Hypno-Pecs in II, but I've always wondered if what we're seeing here is a prosthetic or did they shave a paint Brent's chest?

Hmm, yes. You can see the creases in the latex where they've applied a prosthetic to Brent's chest. And that's the first and only time I'm going to scrutinise Data's pecs.

Hah, I literally just watched this today, it's the Assassination of Data By The Coward Worf

Since you mentioned bloopers there's a bunch of little mistakes that made it into the final cut, Geordi totally fumbles putting a chip into a somethingorother, and Worf screws up some of his gunplay, it felt like some of it was really rushed. On the other hand I love the Enterprise riding into the sunset at the end, considering how much they reused fx shots etc that was probably a pretty high commitment for a little gag.
