I've yet to understand whats so bad about 2g1c for it to keep beeing mentioned in the same way as genuine horrendous gore. Yea its disgusting, but im sure there're worse scat subs on here, which still isn't as awful as sanguinary torture shown to you during lunch on a shitty samsung s3
I mean, what the fuck would they need to do to make it worse? Are you familiar with what they are doing? They are basically doing everything it can be done!
FR, I feel like being part of the rotten . Com generation and seeing the dozens of videos I saw growing up (3g1h, etc) fucked me up in a lot of ways. I’m sensitive to almost nothing, short of seeing something happen in front of me IRL.
What if I was the classmate that made everyone watch those 😈 (it's been years and now I'm pretty sensitive to those type of videos. Empathy restored I suppose?)
They say it for engagement bait and to have defense against people that would claim there should have been a "trigger warning" to protect their "heckin' feelings" were it not there
For the recent video of stupidly restarted cops that ran over a duck, there was a disclaimer even if in the video there was nothing graphic. I think it was about those kind of video he was refering to
See these things had the opposite reaction to me. Saw them once, went that's awful, started just not watching if I got sent something that looked fucked up.
There's a conscious choice to appear as desensitised as possible for teenage boys as part of the acting as mature as possible thing. I was more of the "that competing is what's actually immature" mindset
I don't know, and I don't wanna know. The whole appeal of the show is torturing children. I've gave a more thorough opinion about it, and It's never well received by the people who like the show.
If they torture kids in the show, they torture kids in the show. I don't know why I shouldn't call a spade a spade.
Like I understand the show has world building and story, but that's not enough argument to have literal child torture there.
If you'd like the longer answer... I like the show, but I don't like children being in pain.
It's about exploring and going deeper into the unknown, and very dangerous world. Being afraid and stopping is not possible, after coming so far, giving up is the worst option. So they keep going, seeing the beauty in the midst of hell. Persevering through improbable odds to survive. The danger isn't obscure, it's shown plainly and does affect the characters. They do risk death despite being "the heroes" of the show. And this all is nothing more than simply a cost of reaching their goal. A goal that isn't even clear.
Claim: "the appeal of the show is torturing children"
Answer: "No."
Elaborate: "If you'd like the longer answer... I like the show, but I don't like children being in pain."
Brother, you're tripping in your words from the very beginning. It doesn't matter what parts you like and what parts you don't. The gruesome, disgusting part is still there regardless. You can't be nitpicking in what parts are valid from the show lmfao
If you say the appeal of the show isn't torturing children, well... wasn't there a Made in Abyss game with a whole lot of very graphic death scenes? And the show literally highlights those moments, so how is that not an appeal in the show?
See, this is what i'm talking about. The community around this disgusting shit is so defensive to the point where they dismiss the brutal aspects of the show as if they never existed.
The show is on Netflix, for fucks sake. I don't give a shit about your world-building.
A crew of explorer resort to eating the babies that the bodie of a kid touched by the abyss produce, the little kid is sad to see her children being devour but can't do nothing because her body has deformed a lot.
Can't really help you if it's truly abhorent what you're watching, but generally people due have a wide spectrum of viewing tolerances.
Many companies also put the preface up to deter any complaints from people complaining that something mild and inoffensive still made them slightly upset that one time.
I have basically no ability for empathy (EQ score of fucking 0), but at least I don't willingly condition myself into thinking whatever happens in these videos is okay. I do this by not watching them (duh).
I'm not risking corrupting my brain, since I'm already at a higher risk than regular people when it comes to reenacting these things (I would never do so, however, but it doesn't mean I'm willing to take chances).
No, this isn't me being an edgy cunt, I genuinely have gone through a few tests and evaluations that said I have no empathy, at least towards humans. Doesn't mean I'm a massive shithead, since I at least try not to be mean on purpose.
Man I watched a video the other day of a dude who tried unsuccessfully to an hero with a shotgun, man had basically no lower face just a bloody mess... I don't know what I was expecting when I read the description of the video but I had to go sit in silence in a dark room for a while after it

Depends on if your classmates made you watch ISIS vids and 2g1c as a kid or not.

Also, drill sounding a slit dick.
I did not ask to see that one, not a great sight in all honesty.

Tageloehn@reddit
The eating part isn't real. They swap out the feces for chocolate ice cream in those scenes.
Also: it could be nonconsensual or involving stuff like snuff. Would make it worse imo.
RealMilkManYetAgain@reddit
One of the ladies died from bacteria associated with eating feces, I don't think it was fake

This is cope that people tell to themselves since years because they can't accept the universe is a dark place full of scat

Unless they did a chocolate pudding deep anal insertion it is not plausible as they eat it straight from the nozzle.

Yeah, I remember being shown a clip of a double execution, one with a decapitation by chainsaw, one by slit throat. It was horrifying.
Nowadays I watch videos of people dying without blinking and want to work at medical forensics. Crazy stuff.

Appeal - definition:
The quality in someone or something that makes him, her, or it attractive or interesting.
