i just wanted to share that i accidentally dropped my new monitor while installing it. i have back problems and i didnt have any help and i tried to push it and ended up falling to the floor.
i feel so useless and i don't know what to do anymore. i completely lost all joy from this and im scared to even try to ask the vendor if anything can be done about it, it's just my fault.
i've been building PCs for almost 10 years now and it's the first time i've broken something, i didnt understand how heartbreaking it can be until now.

If you do return it make sure to tell them it’s broke so they don’t relist it as open box or something like that.

If you bought it with a credit card, you might be able to file a claim under Purchase Protection to get it fixed/replaced. If you've purchased it recently, you might be able to buy an accident/extended warranty plan and file a claim under that.

Did you use a credit card? A lot of credit cards offer free 90 day protection.

Depends on where you bought it, you could just lie about dropping it. I promise you the mega corpo aren’t gonna feel anything. If you bought it fron a small store tho, don’t.
