Why I built a PC in this market instead of buying a prebuilt

I was originally going to buy the PowerSpec G757 from Micro Center for about $2,650 after tax, but ended up building instead.

I went with the Micro Center 9850X3D/RAM/mobo bundle and the rest of the parts from Amazon/eBay.

I stacked Amazon/BOFA/Rakuten/Capital One Shopping cashback and got a little under $600 back total, bringing the cost to about $2,091.56.

I know cashback isn’t really a discount, but compared to the prebuilt and the 2% cashback I would’ve gotten on it, this seemed like the better move imo.

Did I do good or nah?
