Can anyone tell me if this bike is actually good?

My current bike is a zeforia, I’ve only had it since the beginning of march and it’s already taking a crap on me. The battery is starting to die faster, I’ve had to replace the tubing on the tires twice, my brakes are starting to get worse, and the bolt on my left pedal is completely stripped. My original plan for a replacement was the ride star q20, my friend told me it was a good starter bike with room for modding, but I’m looking for other alternatives just to keep my options open. Give me suggestions, preferably with a price range of 600$ or lower.

A rule to know if it isn’t ul certified your house will burn

Thanks for the input, I’ll keep that in mind while I research
Specialist_Event_129@reddit

For that price you probably won’t find anything reliable unless you go second hand.
Cptnwhizbang@reddit
Almost definitely not. Nice bike frames with good parts already approach that price, and you also want a big battery and motor. This will be trash.

I’m not going for anything super crazy since this will only be my second ever e-bike, I’m trying to keep it in that price range and all I really do is ride around town with my friends and ride to school. I just wanted something that can ride in the 30-40 mph range so I can actually keep up with my friends bikes
Cptnwhizbang@reddit
It's not about that. You're spending 90% of your budget on a battery dude. Do you expect the frame and motor to work well? This is like trusting a $1 shrimp buffet not to give you food poisoning

Your super aggressive homie chill out. Not everyone has 4 grand to drop on the last surron you damn nepobaby cool it
SnuffyMcfluff@reddit
This is a terrible idea. Going 30-40 on something like this is a great way to get hurt or killed. You might as well ride a big wheel down a bobsled run. It will be super fun until it isn’t.

I got good safety gear, I’m just looking for a new bike since my current one is starting to get worse
SnuffyMcfluff@reddit
Safety gear doesn’t help that much when the car hits you after your brakes fail. You get what you pay for and equipment like the bike you are looking at is not a great choice.

I found other options, I’ve made like 2 other posts since this one

Looks good to me. The frame is nice. And it looks very upgradable
CelticJewelscapes@reddit
Its a bike-like object
Efficient-Guess-9318@reddit (OP)
Sounds about right
nsfbr11@reddit
Yes. It is not good. It is $600. Do the math.
Anxious-Depth-7983@reddit
Nothing in that price range is more than a waste of money. You're better off finding a solid quality used bike and adding an electrification kit. But even then unless you own a set of tools and a good crimper and soldering iron it'll run you more than $600.

I got a buddy who has tools and I have a 3 year old KINK bmx bike I might be able to mod. Any suggestions for parts then?
Technical-Row8333@reddit
just from that screenshot, the look of the app, i'm already turned off on it
Efficient-Guess-9318@reddit (OP)
I found it on TikTok shop but I was gonna google the brand
Technical-Row8333@reddit
>TikTok shop
mmmh ok wow. so two things I wanna tell you, one: i had kinda heard about but kinda didn't register that there is a 'tiktok shop', so since i know so little about it what does my opinion matter anyway, and two: why would you ever spend $600 in the TikTok shop instead of somewhere with warranties, and good/free return policies (which again, im assuming tiktok shop isn't that)
SnuffyMcfluff@reddit
Fixed seat, useless pedals, cheap.
Not good
Ravio11i@reddit
It's not
Efficient-Guess-9318@reddit (OP)
Got any suggestions for a better on?
Ravio11i@reddit
At the bottom end price-wise 'lectric. The problem is it's expensive to go cheap because every part of the bike is cheap and will break, thus leaving you where you are now. I see you want something that'll go 30-40... you need to up your budget a lot!
Imaginary-Village839@reddit
For $600 good luck finding something with reliable battery , motor
More importantly why would u trust a bike being sold On temu to keep you safe while riding
My only advice is to expand ur budget a few 100 or u will end up in the hospital
Imaginary-Village839@reddit
With that being said if ur mechanical inclined look into Aipas M2 max
Many positive test run reviews and a lot of people generally love them
Or Look into the kingbull hunter 2.0s
I see quite a few kingbulls in my apartment complex and the newer model has a very good samsung 19ah battery

I’m new to the ebike scene, but this looks like yet another random white-label china knockoff brand. Never heard of Zeforia, but I assume the same goes for them.
You will probably have a similar experience with this model, if I had to guess.
Efficient-Guess-9318@reddit (OP)
Yea I’ll make a post of the bike if I can find it on Amazon, it’s a 7 speed bike that goes like 23 mph max, no room for modding and like stupid thin wheels. It was only 200$ tho but my mom is tryna call me ungrateful even tho it was her idea to get me an unreliable bike
