I contacted THULE about this since it’s a warranty item I am unable to provide the proof of purchase so they will not replace it but they offered me 40%off a new one.

Is this repairable or should I just get the new one? The spring broke out the bottom of the locking rail so the pin won’t sit right in the latch not allowing the key to be removed I was thinking of installing a “bracket” on the bottom to hold the spring in place and have the pin engage with the latch is this doable or not worth the trouble? Thanks in advance
