Relocating anxious cat from US to IND cargo hold - what impacted the adjustment to new country post travel (e.g., allergens, new litter)?

Hello,
I'm considering relocating my adult cat from the US to India. She's an anxious 8yr old cat, with no health issues BUT tends to be scared of change. Of any kind. She is the kind of cat that hides from cat sitters, and gets playful after hearing my voice on a video call if I'm away.
I would need to send her via cargo hold as I'm already abroad - I developed physical injuries that changed my travel plans/returns. As much as I would love to bring her, I'm trying to assess what change might be better for her to tolerate and adjust to long-term (new country inc change in food, allergens, etc versus new owner).
I would really appreciate if people could share their decision-making process with relocating versus rehoming an anxious cat, and if they chose to take them abroad, how their cat adjusted to a new country (e.g., allergens, change in food, litter). If there was anything you wish you had known prior to relocating them, or anything that really helped their adjustment, that would be super helpful.
Thank you so much!
