Quali cibi e quali souvenir/oggetti piacerebbe ricevere dall'Italia?

Kids will definitely like any kind of candy! Parents will like any kind of authentic Italian food honestly. People love Italian food here so honestly anything you bring I’m sure they’ll be happy with

As others have said something that is unique to the region that you are from but that will also stand out. Something that you can tell a story about that your host family can pass on to others. Something they can remember you by that distinctly stands out as something that came from you.

That amazing pasta from La Fabbrica Della Pasta from Gragnano!

I don't think there really is anything I could name that I'd want because I'm not from there and don't know what is there. Maybe some sports stuff for the boys?

Something related to soccer (football) could be great for the boys, like jerseys or scarves from a notable team. Traveling to places like Italy and seeing the passion for the sport among people ignited my interest in the game.
Atlanta has a soccer team, so it could be a good fit (though, as an Atlantan myself, our team has sucked the last few years, haha).

Cured meats, cheese, pasta, and your Nonna’s family recipes.

Pecorino. Chocolate and other candies. Wine if you can afford it. Limoncello. And any handmade goods.
Welcome to the USA!

Limoncello!!!

Food is always a good gift. The adults would probably appreciate some Italian pasta or coffee. The kids would love Italian sweets and chocolates.

Candy and snacks are almost always a safe bet when bringing people stuff back from another country.

Atlanta is great. Tons of stuff in the area, sports, and close to a lot of stuff. You will have a great thing. Bring items unique to Italy. Things you can’t get in the states. The more unique the better imo.

Authentic Italian pantry staples, premium leather goods, or regional artisan treats.

Pandoro/Panetonne, torrono, croccante, taralli, amaretti/cancutti, borbone, Lavazza coffee. Just remember if bringing food: nothing with meat or fresh fruit or vegetables due to customs regulations.

Bring some of that black squid ink pasta, and some sugar candies.

Seconding candy. My family has fostered a lot of foreign exchange students, and they always bring candy

I love painted Italian dishes. Just little ones you could put your rings into or other trinkets.

Maybe a moka coffee pot and italian coffee for it

In this kind of instance, it really is the thought that counts. That you’re bringing gifts will be received as a very kind gesture. I would suggest bringing things that are meaningful to you, perhaps items that are unique your own town and region.
