Jasion Patrol 52 - Removing rear tire

My son’s rear tire has a hole in it. We tried patching it but the air didn’t hold. We are now wanting to remove the rear tire to replace the tube. Bike shops in our area will not work on the bike because of the motor being connected to that tire. Does anyone have guidance for removing this tire? Or know of a video for this specific bike?

Key issue with a rear hub motor is whether you can easily disconnect the wiring to the motor. There should be a multi point connector somewhere leading to the hub. Often the cable will be ziptied to the frame and you'll have to cut those zipties and replace them later. Then separate the connector. Probably locknuts holding the wheel in place with some kind of keyed washer(s) or flat side to the axle to make sure the wheel goes back in the correct orientation.
I was working in a bike shop and had to change a tube where the bike didn't have a disconnect. I had to put the bike on a stand with a trash can underneath to support the wheel while I changed the tube. It took forever. They now charge a much higher price to change a tube on a hub motor wheel.
This bike seems to be more of an e-moto bike than ebike so I'm not surprised a bike shop wasn't interested

Does the motor cable have a connector somewhere between the motor and the controller?
