Is it weird to give someone a picture of your dog?

Moved into this house a couple of years ago. Our neighbour is an older fella who is always lovely with our dog. We're on good terms, he'll go out of his way to give him food, cuddles and calls to him whenever he sees him. He's taken to knocking on the door a couple of times a week to offer him some pieces of leftover chicken etc. We were chatting with him and he'd told us he was always a big dog lover but can't keep them anymore and how much he misses his old dog.

We want to get him a small gift to say thank you, nothing over the top but we're a bit lost on what to get him since we don't know him very well socially.

The current idea is a nice tin of biscuits but then we thought about including a wee picture of the dog and signing it off with a thank you for always being kind to him. Is that weird? We don't want to be the weirdos handing out pictures of our dog.
