You live in the best reality that has ever existed. Maybe your reality blows compared to others around you, but odds are strong that you're in a better position to change that reality than any of your ancestors were.
Well you can either go do something or be another one of those people that says "Wow I can't believe it's xyz month already" for the rest of your life.
it is impressive how this is the first year where i haven’t heard anything about it at all so far, usually there would be some backlash and memes at this point, but nothing
IMO, the manners in which we consume information and media have surpassed our abilities to perceive and manage time. Social media was somewhat manageable, and Reddit honestly felt like the worst of the bunch. But the advent of short form content (Shorts, Reels, and Tiktok) in conjunction with traditional social media (Snapchat, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), plus streaming, podcasts, and gaming have created a situation where we are entertaining ourselves in an accelerated demise. Boredom and marinating in the mundane are important parts of the human experience. Now, time to goon.
By ~1.25 milliseconds though according to that article. And it says at that infinitesimally small amount of time the implications are more for tech than people.
If it's 1.25 milliseconds faster and a human's reaction speed is 200 milliseconds, then that means every 160 days humans will react to a day that no longer exists. Math says the beginning of June is the deja vu timezone.
Well said I totally agree, there's just too many stuff to do these days, so many new shows and games coming out everyday, it's hard to keep up with anything anymore
Perhaps TikTok is the work of time vampires, siphoning away opportunities for life to thrive here so that recipient aliens can be more engaged in their offline material realities.

Undoubtedly, but the forum this was communicated to you on doesn't change the substance of the comment.
So again I say, if you're miserable, do something about it. What's the worst that's going to happen; you'll continue to be miserable?
