Does any one remember Zoobilee Zoo? Did anyone ever actually watch that show on purpose?

My partner and I were talking about this show this morning for some reason, because we both randomly get the theme music wedged in our brainmeats for no apparent reason, and we both remember it seemed like a filler show or something our parents put on to occupy us while they did whatever it was they were doing. My memory paints it as some kind of cocaine-driven fever dream.

Was “No Gnus is good Gnus with Gary Gnu” part of that, or am I thinking of something else?

Never watched it, totally forgot about it, and yet I'm somehow able to play its theme song in my head. And if this is the one with Gary Gnu, I guess I did watch it, cuz good gnus, is good gnus, with Gary Gnu!

I think Gen X is a little too old to be their target audience. I do remember my much younger siblings turning it on, but even they thought it was weird and just made fun of it.

Yeah I was little and I loved it. '81

Yeah I remember it vividly and I was little. It did have a fever-dream vibe. I thought it was great. I especially remember the cockatoo lady and the fox guy. I think a lion? I could probably still sing the song too haha.

I had a morning paper route for a few years and when I got home my choices for viewing while I scarfed down a bowl of cereal was Zoobilee Zoo or The Farm Report. So Zoobilee Zoo it was.

I was older than the core audience, but I'm 100% sure that show was a furry awakening for a segment of an entire generation.

Definitely not on purpose. But I'm sure I've seen it.

My sister (born 1982) used to watch it, but now has no memory of it.

I loved this show and watched Noozles too! I was little on the older side for them but I was always stuck watching my little sister and got invested in them 😂

I remember it existing, but I don't think I ever actually saw it.
