First Ebike - Letric vs Aipas

I'm purchasing my first e-bike to use for my daily commute to school. I think I'll be commuting about 20 miles a day with some rolling hills but mostly paved roads and bike trails. I will be carrying supplies for school, a laptop, a change of clothes, and a lunch box on my bike as well so I will need reasonable storage. I'm currently comparing these two models:
Both have good accessory packages, but there is a significant price gap. I do value reliability above all so I am willing to purchase the more expensive option. I am just not as familiar with the e-bike space and the reputations of each brand. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I would get the Ride1up Vorsa over the Xpress and they are nearly the same price.
For a couple hundred more you can get the Ride1up Prodigy V2 with a Brose middrive and an air fork.

Can you elaborate a bit more on why? Going above the Xpress price (including tax and accessories) is a bit more a stretch for me

The Vorsa Lite is actually $4 cheaper at $1395 but doesn't include the free accessories. The Vorsa has about 8% more battery, 95Nm torque vs 85Nm, slightly upgraded drivetrain, weighs ~7 pounds less, and has a better finish.
The standard Vorsa has a much more capable rear rack/passenger seat.
The Prodigy is far more refined with a Brose middrive, air fork, quad piston brake calipers, and 9 speed drivetrain.
But if local support is high on your concerns list, I can see the case for Lectric. The Xpress2 has notable improvements over the Xpress1 including less motor noise and replacing the bottom of the line 7 speed Tourney drivetrain with an 8 speed Altus. But the Suntour XCM 32 coilspring fork is heavy and garbage.

The price gap isn't because of any "sale".
It's because Aipas produce shit quality bikes and have a terrible reputation for basically every aspect of their business.
Lectric are more expensive because they're the polar opposite of everything I've just said about Aipas.
