There was also the paraglider incident last week in Austria where a Cessna flew through a paragliders lines destroying them and forcing the paraglider to deploy a backup chute.
Both pilots are safe and relatively unharmed somehow

There's a hilarious security cam clip out there of the Citation gear up landing where you can see it slowly slide across the frame, come screeching to a halt nose up, and only then does the captain lower the gear

This is part of a monthly series where I list the significant accidents of said month.
I have no intention of fearmongering, simply making these accidents known. Let me know if I should/shouldn't have included certain things since I may have forgotten some.

On mobile, go to your profile and right below Feed Options is a button for customizing what shows on your feed. Mine says "showing 13 communities."
To the right of "Content and Activity," tap the button there; yours probably says "hide all." You can select "Customize" and show only what you want or "Show all."

It's mostly general aviation flights, but I have to admit that the United flight could have ended up so much worse.

A helicopter crashed in north Georgia the other day, killed 2. It was a “send off” after a wedding. The groom and his brother passed, and the wife is in the hospital.

I'd like to raise a piece news that noone in the English-speaking world is talking about.
Haneda's runway D has some kind of a joint protrusion that has caused burst tires on 2 departing flights - one JAL 767 with Shinzo Abe's widow on board, and one Skymark 737. In very amateur terms, runway D is mostly reclaimed but with a section built as a bridge of sorts, its weight limit is the main reason nobody operates the A380 to HND.

Was the F-18 Super Hornet Airshow incident in May? Thought that would be a major enough incident.
Siphania@reddit
you happen to miss the one of the Avro Replica.
