The Israeli terrorists are once again proving that they don't the meaning of the word ceasefire.. The last time they "signed" the ceasefire, they started firing 6 hours after they announced the start of the ceasefire.
After signing the ceasefire once again, they are now trying to level Beirut. These terrorists will never stop, and UE/US are support these pedophiles.
Hamiltonblewit@reddit
There’s like 50 different ceasefires at this point, but Isreal and Hezbollah is well aware of the condition that “Hezbollah must disarm in the South” is never going to stick so both sides feel comfortable attacking one-another until things escalated to this point
segalle@reddit
Would be a fair argument if jsrael stopped terrorizing people in the west bank, which does not have armed defense
bearkin1@reddit
Sounds like you're saying Israel is innocent and it's all Hezbollah's fault
porktorque44@reddit
I’m gonna keep saying it. This war is not going to end as long as the Trump admin is in power. The Israeli government is smarter than them (very low bar) and it’s members aren’t motivated exclusively by personal enrichment. All these talks are and will remain empty because the admin doesn’t know how to stop Israel from violating these agreements. If you’re sitting at a negotiating table and your partner keeps saying over and over “I’m not going to agree to any conditions of any deal, and will kill you the first chance I get.” You can’t negotiate anything as long as you keep calling them your partner.
exegenes1s@reddit
Israel began this behavior with dedicated support from the Biden admin, who was mostly made up of seasoned Obama people. It has nothing to do with Trump.
porktorque44@reddit
I’m talking about this war. The one that Israel has attempted to push every president into, going back to at least Clinton. Trump was the only one stupid/weak enough to actually do it.
exegenes1s@reddit
On the campaign trail Harris was actively beating the war drum on Iran. She would have done it too.
Guardianpigeon@reddit
I don't like Harris, but I don't think that's completely true.
Yes, she would still be hawkish towards Iran, but she would likely never be stupid enough to pull the trigger for a war in the way Trump did. I don't think Netenyahu could convince her with a power point presentation against the will of her own domestic intelligence agencies. Gaza would still be a genocide, and Lebanon would still be invaded, but I do not think she would have gone to war with Iran.
exegenes1s@reddit
Netanyahu told Trump that he would start the war no matter what, and the US would be forced to defend it. Could you imagine Harris letting Israel get bombed and not going to war?
porktorque44@reddit
What point are you trying to prove here? Because it sounds a lot like what I’d said originally. Israel is sabotaging peace talks that the US desperately wants. The difference is unlike a Harris administration this one is filled with second rate con men who don’t know how to navigate international politics. A competent administration would recognize that there was no upside for the US.
Iyellkhan@reddit
she was absolutely not doing that
porktorque44@reddit
Bullshit.
She had a hard stance on them but I don’t think she’s dumb enough to actually start a war due to the possibility of it strengthening Irans position which is exactly what Trump has done here.
sigmaluckynine@reddit
Personally for me this is dangerous to Israel. Iran knows now the US can't do anything to them. At this point, what's stopping Iran in sending weapons to Hezbollah to fight Israel? Nothing. As much as Israel has an advanced military, we're seeing drones really make an impact and Iran has an edge in drone warfare at the moment. Even if it doesn't push out Israel, this is going to make it extremely dangerous for not only the Israeli military but the general public - they could barely fight off strikes from Iran, what are they going to do when Hezbollah is using drones and not rockets
porktorque44@reddit
Agreed. One of the things that gets lost in the conversations around Israel is that the government uses these conflicts to cement their hold on power. If anything a more dangerous Iran could be seen as a benefit to them. For example 10/7 should have been seen as a failure for Netanyahu and his coalition but they’ve only gained more power in the aftermath.
sigmaluckynine@reddit
More like Bibi not wanting to go to jail. Talk about the most evilest person in this century. And yeah completely agreed
porktorque44@reddit
That is absolutely a huge part of it. I also believe the right wing coalition that supports him uses his postponed trials as leverage to push him to be even more aggressive. If they withdraw their support he doesn’t just lose power, he goes to jail too. And I suspect that they don’t have a well thought out overall strategy, which would explain them ham-fistedly creating a more powerful Iran.
Blarg_III@reddit
It's not a small group of Israeli polticians driving this, the war in Lebanon has overwhelming public support in Irsael.
porktorque44@reddit
I won’t deny that. I was talking about the decision making process of the government that that majority is supporting. I think that support would be significantly less if they understood that they are seen as rocket fodder by their government, but they celebrate their government’s atrocities so fuck ‘em.

If you read a bit about current domestic issues and the cultural climate in Israel, their string of campaigns seems to have a yet unclear expiration date, by which the political capital needed to keep them going, will simply not be present anymore. How this shakes out in reality, remains to be seen, how their society and those of the countries devastated will change due to the ripple effects, also remains to be seen. My personal views, which I have clearly stated previously, nonwithstanding.
But I hope all of this ends soon. Just the numbers of those displaced, those killed, those detained. It is easy for too many to rationalize them away, to strip everyone of their humanity and treat numbers as ink on paper, pixels on a screen. I think in some fashion, it is a way to cope with and compartmentalize large scale human suffering, but does it make the suffering and its potential long-term effects go away?
mschuster91@reddit
Well, given that Hamas had primarily attacked the pro-Palestinian kibbutzim all the way back in Oct 7th... it is not surprising that Palestine doesn't have too much support in all of Israeli society and that a majority of the Israeli population wants no further repeat of something like Oct 7th or the usual "death to Israel" chants out of Iran.
Where they disagree on is basically what is appropriate and what is just pointless dragging out the war so Bibi doesn't have to face prison.
I see no way for this to end without hard guarantees by an external force that neither Iran nor its various proxies (Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthi rebels) ever become a threat to Israel again. And either the Arab League steps up big time and manages some sort of peaceful mission (e.g. like EUFOR Althea in Bosnia) or they'll have to live with Israel doing the job much more dirty.
SpontaneousFlame@reddit
lol. The subtext here, that it’s somehow all the fault of the people Israel has been occupying and brutalising for decades or the people Israel had attacked is a good attempt at victim blaming but doesn’t quite pass muster.
Israel hates and attacks Palestinians in both Gaza and the West Bank because it wants to ethnically cleanse them, Iran because it cannot tolerate any challenge, and Lebanon because it wishes to expand into southern Lebanon. These aren’t the actions of someone defending itself and no one should be spending blood and treasure helping Israel expand and brutalise others.
Iyellkhan@reddit
its worth noting that Hamas is also genocidal, they just lack the resources to do it
mschuster91@reddit
Lol if anything it was Israel that was attacked and invaded multiple times ever since it was founded. And each time the Arab nations came out with bloody noses... everyone else made their peace with it, only Iran did not.
For Gaza, that's BS. IDF left Gaza in 2006 and it only went downhill ever since.
For West Bank, I actually agree with you, fuck the settlers, every single one of them.
Real_Square1323@reddit
How's the weather in Tel Aviv?
mschuster91@reddit

SpontaneousFlame@reddit
mschuster91:
That lie is so old and tired. No one who travels thousands of miles to colonise and ethnically cleanse another people because they feel them inferior is “just defending themselves.”
lol. Israel attacked Iran, twice, not the other way around. Did you forget that?
The international court of justice disagrees with you. So does Israel, for that matter - it’s quite proud of the brutal blockade on Gaza.
lol. What about the soldiers that protect the settlers and murder and ethnically cleanse whole villages for them? What about the Israeli government, which built the settlements and put the Israeli settlers and soldiers there in the first place?
Somewhere in all this you have list site of Israel rampaging around Lebanon “defending itself.”
mschuster91@reddit
You know what surprises me? How quiet the Lebanese government and all the other Muslim states in the MENA region are. It almost appears like... everyone wants Iran and its proxies gone for good.
amphibia__enjoyer@reddit
Because Iran is a regional rival to the local power players, the degree varies. Gulf states have obvious economic reasons to be anti-Iran for example. Türkiye on the other hand wants a stable Iran, despite being in a rivalry with them (If Iran collapses and kurdish minorities seize the day, that'd be code red for Ankara). Egypt and Jordan are firm US allies, because US aid stabilizes the rule of their governments, so their hands are bound and their interests allign to some extent with their "benefactor". It's quite nuanced. The Lebanese government itself both can't deal with Hezbollah's dual power within the country and can't actually do very much against Israel using the existence of Hezbollah as a mandate to turn southern Lebanon into a wasteland. Muslims and governments of majority muslim countries are also not a monolith and shared religion is usually not first on the list of reasons for potentially costly foreign policy decisions.
mschuster91@reddit
Oh I know that, I just formulated it as a self-answering rhetoric question because I want to hear the excuses from the usual Pallywood/anti-Zionist crowd.
party_core_@reddit
Any and all opinions, past, present, and future, to be discarded
SpontaneousFlame@reddit
So do you support the continued expansion of Israel?
mschuster91@reddit
Temporary occupation to clean up shop? Absolutely. All I have to look for as justification is my own homecountry. We were seen as the biggest threat in the region for a darn good reason and the international community took over for almost half a century until we had improved enough that our neighbors were certain we would not invade them again.
A permanent occupation like the settlers want? Absolutely not. Fuck Ben Gvir, fuck Smotrich, and fuck all the settlers.
SpontaneousFlame@reddit
During the “temporary occupation” did US soldiers demolish entire villages and towns in Germany, vowing Germans would never be allowed to live in parts of Germany again? Did the US decide collective punishment of Germans was ok? Did the US massacre refugees for fun?
A permanent occupation like most of Israel wants? Of course you support that.
You Zionists really are convinced that anyone you massacre deserved it, even children.
Killeroftanks@reddit
About that, the Soviets actually did that.
And ironically it still has lasting affects to this day seeing how bad east Germany still is, even after being united for close to 40 years now
SpontaneousFlame@reddit
So the answers are “no, the US didn’t do that” and “doing that is evil.” Do you think Israel is justified in committing these evil acts? Do you think anyone pro-Israel will condemn it? Or is there wall to wall support for it?
Magjee@reddit
Israel was fighting in Lebanon when there were no proxies there
The "proxy" actually pushed them out
It is a factual local militia and political group in Lebanon
That is has outside help is largely irrelevent to the excuse of continued expansion, which is the Israeli goal
Israel is also aggressively pushing people out of the West Bank, where there is no resistance or "proxy"
HockeyHocki@reddit
The reason Israel are there is because of terror groups operating out of southern Lebanon, Hezb just happens to be a proxy. Between 1948 and 1970 Israel never stepped foot in Lebanon, why not? Because nobody was attacking them.
The PLO moved into south Lebanon, start attacking Israel and we're to believe Israel coincidently developed 'imperial designs' on conquering Lebanon when they were forced to go in and deal with it, its so retarded🤦♂️
Magjee@reddit
These resistance groups formed from displaced people
The 700,000 people displaced from the 1940's had no ability to return home
This is the continued excuse for expansion, resistance is a threat and you need more ground to buffer for defense
Clearly this state has expanded itself under the guise of security over and over again. Retreating due to a military setback a few times
The PM and his cabinet openly display maps of a Greater Israel and their actions are in line with that goal
HockeyHocki@reddit
The PM has never displayed a map of Greater Israel you are completely brainwashed
Magjee@reddit
From an Israeli newspaper:
https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/politics-and-diplomacy/article-760189
This one eliminates Gaza and the West Bank
Another Israeli news source:
https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/netanyahu-says-hes-on-a-historic-and-spiritual-mission-endorses-vision-of-greater-israel/
So above the first articles expansion, this includes expansion into Syria, Egypt and up to the Litani
HockeyHocki@reddit
That's not a map of greater Israel jfc
bearkin1@reddit
This is what your comment is paraphrased to:
"I perceive that other countries in the region are not against this, therefore I believe there is a justification for the slaughter of all these civilians."
HockeyHocki@reddit
100%, its no secret most in the region silently wish the Iranian regime gone and their proxy network crumble. They dont want any blowback from it though, and when there's risk of it thats only time you'll hear these states chirp up
Master_Flash@reddit
Like Tucker Carlson said, Israel is overextended. They can only support aggression towards all their neighbours because they have the complete backing of USA and EU politicians.
This should change, the people don't support Israel, why the hell the elected officials should support it and give it free pass for their aggression, exapansionism and genocidal campaings?
xmuskorx@reddit
Why should not Israel have backing of USA and EU politicians when fighting back against vile terrorist Hezbollah.
Hope to see Israel get even more help so they can finish the Hezbollah child killers once and for all.
Master_Flash@reddit
Remember that every accusation from a zionist nazi is a confession.
No terrorist organization in the world has killed more children, more UN workers, more doctors and more civilians than the zionist government of Israel did.
Inside data leaked from the IDF showed that over 80% of the people killed in Gaza were civilians. This is considered a lowball number.
And lastly, fuck you. Go to hell.
xmuskorx@reddit
Remember every anti-Israel accusation is confession.
We all know what kind of terrorists perform absolute hyper majority of global terror.
If you make up facts..... than it's so easy to be anti-Israel.
And lastly, peace to Israel.
Master_Flash@reddit
You sound like one of those reddit bots.
Regardless, I find it fitting that you didn't refuse any of my claims. You know they are true and I'm gonna leave a link to some articles.
Number of aid workers killed in Gaza conflict, highest in UN history
Revealed: Israeli military’s own data indicates civilian death rate of 83% in Gaza war
xmuskorx@reddit
Lol, I followed your post's structure. So what does it sat about you?
Probably it had record number of UN workers be integrated into Hamas.
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cnvyyz8461yo
this says: "Figures from classified IDF database listed 8,900 named fighters as dead or probably dead in May, as overall death toll reached 53,000."
I don't follow - is Israel expected to NAME every Hamas fighter they kill?
Ha????
Master_Flash@reddit
Dude, you are literally supporting the Nazis of our generation. When you defend the mass atrocities committed by Israel that's exactly what you are doing, defending a supremacist regime that is hellbent on ethnic cleansing and land grabbing. Period.
That is what Israel does. And they use the same excuse as you do. Every school destroyed, every UN worker killed, every children shot by the IDF, every ambulance bombed is because they were terrorists.
This doesn't work anymore ok?
Because you are being willfully ignorant. This was their own database that was leaked. Israeli officials didn't even deny it wasn't their own military data. It tracked and listed every active combatant from Hamas that Israel had killed. That's what it was.
The number also resonates with independent assessment of the death toll in Gaza.
Just look at the areas that Israel bombed and invaded. Not a single building was left standing. Complete leveled every town. Nothing else needs to be said. This is the work of demonic people, and I have no idea why you insist they are saints.
xmuskorx@reddit
Hamas and Hezbollah are Nazis of our generation.
They literally want to murder jews because they are jews.
That is what Israel's enemies does.
Ha? What weird blood libel is this? It was hamas that killed/raped/kidnapped every Israeli they came across.
Did you even read the article? It admits later in the article:
"Israeli military intelligence are not aware of all militant deaths or all new recruits."
The article itself contradicts its blood libel headline.
party_core_@reddit
