Didn’t Ukraine get invaded tho? Like are there assholes there? Of course, but I mean I literally watched their country get invaded on live TV. Not every Ukrainian is a Nazi that’s insane thinking. They have a right to defend themselves why are people not ok with that?
MichealRyder@reddit
The invasion didn't happen out of nowhere
It was a last resort, to stop Ukraine's genocide of the Donbas and prevent their entry into NATO.
Finland was not the same story, so while Russia doesn't like it that they joined NATO, Ukraine was the bigger priority, especially in terms of cultural ties.
anotherserf@reddit
> genocide of the Donbas
There was no genocide, and this is simply an empty talking point.
Created by others, to mess with your head.
> prevent their entry into NATO.
Ukraine was not in the process of joining NATO, or anything resembling that state, when Putin began invading on Feb 27 2014.
MichealRyder@reddit
I think Victoria Nuland would disagree. After all, she took steps to ensure it would.
At least it backfired, as Russia continues to bring the hammer down. It didn't want this, but it had no choice. America is the Devil, that cares not for consent.
The Epstein class certainly doesn't
ThrowRA12948262@reddit
LMAO that one phone call is literally all you guys have huh?
MichealRyder@reddit
Quite a lot more, actually. It’s just one of the most damaging, hardly insignificant.
There’s also official language law websites, their refusal to investigate the burning down of that one building during Euromaidan, the repeated bombing of the Donbas and breaking of ceasefires, the embracing of Bandera and all that shit, whereas Russian Nazis are not quite the same situation, though they’re a problem. Hell, some Russian Nazis are fighting FOR Ukraine, which is madness. Must be getting paid heavily.
There’s so much more, but that’s the basic gist of it all.
Anyway, they’re losing, badly. Russia has so much more manpower to spare, and Ukraine’s drones aren’t gonna be enough to deal with that.
Crimea basically avoided all of that by allowing Russia to waltz in with little issue.
All of this could have been avoided, if Ukraine had simply remained neutral, maybe give some autonomy to the Donbas, but noooooo
anotherserf@reddit
You as a good German, late 1939:
"All of this could have been avoided if Poland had not cast its lot with Britain and France, and maybe given some autonomy to the Danzig Corridor ..."
MichealRyder@reddit
Not the same. Russia would have been perfectly fine with a complete, neutral Ukraine. America didn’t want that. Just can’t keep their hands to their selves.
Ukraine, at this point, has more in common with the Nazis, or Israel for that matter. Germany knows this, and is heavily supporting both of them, because they want to make their ancestors proud.
anotherserf@reddit
> Russia would have been perfectly fine with a complete, neutral Ukraine.
That's very clearly not what its regime indicated in its 2021 ultimatum to NATO.
> Ukraine, at this point ...
Your statement indicates that you know basically nothing about modern Ukraine, or modern Germany.
MichealRyder@reddit
The circumstances prior to 2014, compared to 2021, were far worse. Don't be disingenuous
West Germany was never denazified, they simply rebranded and adapted, and that has spread to the former East. Meanwhile, the CIA has gone out of its way to heavily Nazify Ukraine, which saw a huge surge after the fall of the Soviets.
anotherserf@reddit
> The circumstances prior to 2014, compared to 2021
Your statement was equally false in regard to 2014 as 2021.
> West Germany was never denazified, they simply rebranded and adapted ...
You're drunk on rhetoric, my friend.
And you defintely don't understand modern Germany.

ThrowRA12948262@reddit
Both Russia and Ukraine broke ceasefires in the Donbas. If Russia fucked off and stopped funding separatists in the region, it would also be peaceful. Ukraine isn’t just bombing its own people, they’re fighting a war against Russian proxies.
I know, I know, imperialist Russia good, and all that. But they started this war and everything in the Donbas, no ifs ands or buts about it.
MichealRyder@reddit
Russia is not imperialist. Putin was actually hesitant to get involved like this, it was public pressure and pressure from other parties.
Russia is defending its people and friends.
Ukraine was twisted by the Western Empire.
And Russia is winning.
ThrowRA12948262@reddit
Ukraine, Georgia, and Muldova would like a word.
Shameless lies.
You mean they wanted to join a trade agreement with the EU?
‘Winning’ a 2 week special military operation over the course of 4 years, right.
MichealRyder@reddit
Lies, lies, and more lies lies
Damn near every action Russia has taken has been in response to Western transgressions.
Ukraine was engaged in a far more generous trade agreement with Russia, which the CIA hated, so they launched Euromaidan.
As for how long the war is taking......yeah, Russia wasn't expecting the Kyiv regime to be this willing to throw away its own people while they get richer, and certainly wasn't expecting said people to be so suicidal for a while. That's changing, of course, what with Kyiv having to kidnap people to throw on thw frontlines. Germany is even considering deporting Ukrainians to send them to war.
ThrowRA12948262@reddit
I’m sure they’ve said that every time.
Says you
You have no evidence of this. There is no evidence of this.
Russia is surprised Ukraine defended itself? They might be retarded in that case.
MichealRyder@reddit
The West is crumbling, there's no salvaging it. Trump is unintentionally accelerating that.
China is risng, Multi-polarity is a reality.
Russia is learning from its mistakes, while Ukraine is being ground down.
I've long accepted all of that, so I'm just going through life.
ThrowRA12948262@reddit
No idea what any of that has to do with anything
I’m not against Russia being a world power. I am against Russian imperialism, and imperialism in general.
anotherserf@reddit
It's not just the phone call. He also has that phrase "Epstein class" to throw awround.
Inevitable-Regret411@reddit
That begs the question, why didn't Russia take military action to stop any other country they share a border with, such as the Baltic states, joining NATO?
MichealRyder@reddit
The Baltic states were not actively genociding anyone.
Though I fear that will change.
Georgia was a vaguely similar situation to Ukraine.
Hungry_Huia@reddit
Which is why the Ukrainian Nazis have to kidnap them and send them to war.
I assume your live TV suppresses any coverage of the well-documented footage of non-Nazis being kidnapped by Nazis.
And they are exercising that right while losing more and more land everyday, both from Russia and hollowing out their country and selling everything to private American corporations.
There's unfortunately no endgame for Ukraine except at the negotiating table with Russia.
In Afghanistan, the United States could barely hold onto land it occupied because the locals would keep forming insurgency groups and fighting from within.
Meanwhile in the Russian occupied Ukrainian territories, there are no such Ukrainian insurgents rising up.
SDL68@reddit
I'm curious, is the war portrayed accurately in Russia? Don't people question why you haven't had success in 4 years? Are people not concerned about the 1.5 million casualties in Russia or is that hidden from the public?
Hungry_Huia@reddit
Unfortunately I cannot answer this question because I am not Russian nor do I live in Russia. I am a communist - my support for Russia begins and ends with their assistance to socialist countries. Providing oil to Cuba, building a gas pipeline to China and decapitating the UN sanctions regime on North Korea, are all things I support.
Ultimately this isn't a war Ukraine can win. There is no way for Ukraine to militarily defeat Russia nor is there any resistance movement within the Russian occupied territories in the same way as we've seen in American occupied territories like Afghanistan. The former Ukrainians now residing in Russia seem to be for the most part content with continuing on with their lives.
Russia has quite clearly drawn its red lines in the sand when it comes to Ukraine. It drew a red line on Ukraine's neutrality, we crossed that by manufacturing a colour revolution in 2014 to install a pro-western regime into power - and unsurprisingly, the Russian majority areas wanted to cede from that government. Then Russia attempted to discuss returning Donetsk and Lugansk to Ukraine in exchange for providing the Donbas region with autonomy and a say in foreign matters, which was ignored. And now that all else has failed Russia has decided that taking the Donbas oblasts is the new red line.
Belarus and North Korea have yet to actually fight inside of Ukraine, but now that it's a battle of attrition, and NATO has made it clear it will not fight with anything other than Ukrainian lives, and the United States is worried that the billions of dollars worth of natural resources Ukraine gave away to them might fall into Russian hands, the pressure to negotiate those territories away will likely begin.
Because the idea that this was a short operation is mostly a western invention. It is called a Special Military Operation because within Russia it is perceived as a war against NATO, and since NATO is not actively participating in this war, it is for now a special military operation.
Using the CSIS (American think tank) estimate, we get 1.2 million Russian casualties to Ukraine's 500,000 - 600,000. Similarly, using the BBC estimate, we get 500,000 Russians killed to 200,000 Ukrainians.
Given that Ukraine has already been relying on kidnapping and torturing civilians in order to have them sent to the war, while Russia has yet to actually force people into the war, it's not surprising that domestically the Ukrainian government is much more unpopular at the moment, whereas the Russian government is faring just fine.
The economy in Russia is growing (albeit slowly as a result of sanctions) and the quality of life for the average person has improved significantly because the government is aware it has to maintain support for the war.
Russians can also access the regular internet without a VPN, so there isn't the same suppression of news that for example the Chinese or North Koreans face.
Inevitable-Regret411@reddit
North Korean troops have definitely been deployed inside the territory of Ukraine. Back in April North Korean state media unveiled a new memorial commemorating the North Korean troops who died in Ukraine, so it's a reasonable assumption they've been fighting there.
Hungry_Huia@reddit
Died in Kursk, which was Russian territory occupied by Ukraine they helped take back.
They have not set foot in Ukraine, including Ukrainian territories disputed and occupied by Russia.
Wolf4980@reddit
BTW do you have any source for the claim that Russia is now doing unrestricted trade with the DPRK?
tiestocles@reddit
Yes, is the unimpeachable western media reported 1.5 million dead reported in Russia, or the totally credible 30,000 protestors slaughtered by the Iranian regime? Aren't people concerned about our propaganda-free facts? Speak up now.

And? All manner of people will defend their homeland
DiggyJunior@reddit
Ah yes the "All Hands On Deck" Theory, with the implicit meaning that Nazism is necessary to defeat the Red Army. Hmmm, reminds me of 83 years ago and the 1st battle of the Donbas in 1943, but also reminds me of the 2nd battle of the Donbas in 2015. Well since just the 2 Azov Nazi Brigades on their own are now a full Corps, 60,000 men, maybe yes, Ukraine can't win without Nazis. Wow, we really want the Nazis to win now huh? Well the Nazis will need their marching powder then. Except the Nazis lost the 1st and 2nd battle of the Donbas, and the Nazis are losing the 3rd battle of the Donbas in 2026, because Russia has now taken 90% of the Donbas already. So now we're cheering on losing Nazis that can't win. My bad, I should have begun by saying I fully condemn, without reservation, the brutal full scale, totally unprovoked invasion of Germany by Russia in 1945 👍
stewslut@reddit
I think Ukrainian Nazis fighting Russian invaders is good because it means either more dead Nazis or more dead Russian invaders.
It sucks that the Nazis are doing such a good job dying I guess.
DiggyJunior@reddit
You'd probably say the exact same thing about the 1st battle of the Donbas in 1943 too...
warhea@reddit
You have bollocks for brains lol
DiggyJunior@reddit
Yeah right, anyone who supports the side that's killing the Nazis must have testicles where there brain should be 🤡🌎
Foreign-Ice7356@reddit
If dead nazis is good(which it ofc is), why are you sad that they are doing such a good job dying?
warhea@reddit
Irrelevant. The nazis in 43 were invaders. The Ukarian nazis of 26 are defending their country. And how is "Russia" better when alot of their troops, commanders and volunteers are filled with ultra nationalists with neo-nazi sympathies? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rusich_Group#Ideology_and_symbols
DiggyJunior@reddit
And the Ukraine war didn't begin in 2022 with Russia invading the Donbas (actually the governments of both Donbas Republics invited the Russians in, but okay). The war began in 2014, when Ukraine invaded the 2 newly independent Donbas Republics, so the Ukrainian Kiev regime started this war. People like you didn't recognize the independence of the LPR and DPR, so yes it began as a Civil War, but it still began in 2014. The LPR and DPR broke away from Ukraine because there was a CIA/Nazi coup in Kiev in 2014, and the new regime set about banning the Russian language and banning the Russian Orthodox Church, and then that fascist regime sent Nazi units to invade the Donbas. By your oversimplistic logic the invaders are always the baddies and the defenders are always the goodies right? The Nazis invaded the Donbas in 2014 so the Nazis are the baddies by your own bad logic. What about the Russian invasion of Germany in 1945 then? Well then by your logic the Nazi defenders must have been the goodies. The Donbas is majority ethnic Russian, majority Russian Orthodox Church, and majority Russian speaking by the way. But you support Nazis invading the Donbas because the Nazis are defending our superior European values of LGBTQA+, Oligarchy, Migration, and Endless War, okay? 👌

Other than Zelensky fighting a defensive war against a fascist aggressor, and Hitler fighting an offensive war as a fascist aggressor, they're identical. Nobody other than those two has ever had their hand in that position. By that logic, when Trump raised his fist after the assassination attempt, he was giving the Black Power salute.
