Was birding in Washington state with my big camera lens when I saw this jumbo ovehead.

I always wanted to see an A380 and had to do my obligatory post. Looked it up on flightradar24 and it was at 39K ft, on its way to San Francisco to Dubai

I wish we got the A380 at SeaTac, but I don't think we have the demand or infrastructure for one. At least we can see them overhead!

I have a similar shot of this beast flying at a veeeery high latitude over the outskirts of Beijing back in 2011. I was skiing with my then partner, and for whatever reason I brought a 300mm lens with me. Luckily the winter sky wasn’t covered by a thick layer of pollution that day.

I love a good bird/plane spotting combo day. two of my favorite things!

Great pic. Love that Emirates paints the underside like that.

Birding and plane watching are two of my biggest hobbies so I love this post! I dream of the day I see an A380🤞 My nearby international airport only sees them rarely in the case of diversion.
