i have nothing but respect for people who openly practice their faith. that being said, doing so in this way is kinda just forcing everyone to deal with your feet without consent, which have been either a.) stewing in a steel toed boot for 12 hours in the heat or b.) in a flip flop with no socks around diesel fuel and oil. maybe just use a water jug by your truck or just outside the truck stop

Agreed. I also have no issues with people practicing their religion freely and openly. The problem arises when they want me (who does NOT subscribe to their religion) to go out of my way to accommodate their religion.

You dont generally get poop or pee on your feet. Sometimes the tp will let you down. Your feet stay in shoes all day, while I are constantly touching things with your hands. The only reason i can logically see someone being mad about people washing their feet in the sink is racism; this person isn't like me, so they are gross.
Truckers need to grow the fuck up and stop worrying about everyone who isn't them doing things the way they dont. Im tired of all the xenophobic fucks. It's gross, disgusting, uncivilized, inhuman behavior you fucking animal. Buy a bottle of water and do it outside in the parking lot by your truck or something. It's just as bad as people who pee inbetween their truck and trailer at a truckstop or shit in bags under the trailer.

Anyhow, about feet in sinks: an awful lot of sinks aren’t mounted to the wall anywhere close enough to support a man hucking the weight of his entire leg into them.
Easy solution to the foot washers is a portable foot bath and a jug of water.

look i get that some places get messy but the real issue is people leaving water everywhere and not cleaning up after themselves. that applies whether youre washing hands feet or whatever. the sign wouldnt exist if folks just wiped down the sink when theyre done but here we are. respect the shared space and youre golden.

I get the sign, it is needed in some places , when you walk into a bathroom and dude is washing his feet in the sink and making a mess everywhere, water all over the floor and counter and leaves his mess because he doesn't care then yeah it needs to be stopped. The worst though, 6am at the Pilot in Hesperia and a member of the flip-flop gang shits in a urinal cause the stalls are full will make you think twice about a lot of things.
