Volvo VNL 860

I've just recently purchased a Volvo VNL 860. I've also driven volvos before, but this one in particular has some sort of automatic seat adjustment in place.
So everytime I get out of the seat it'll deflate and go to the floor. I sit in it, and after a couple seconds it'll air back up. Personally I cant stand it. I checked the dash for some kind of settings but I don't see anything thats helpful.
Anyone know how to turn this feature off by chance? Thank you in advance.

I think it auto adjusts according to driver weight.
Not sure how to turn it off but I remember those particular seats making the ride very comfortable.

By chance you have it on your truck?

Had it on a company truck I had.
Drove one with it and without. The one with it rode better on bumps.

I bet ya that it grows on ya tho. IF it’s set perfectly

That was my thought, too. That after months of being pissed off bout it, one day the driver will hop in another truck and be unreasonably upset that the seat has to be manually switched. Like having to release the parking brakes by hand instead of touching the accelerator.

I don’t want to be any kind of influence OR Act like I know nothing…. On a somewhat related note tho. Still shocked some tractors just have a switch for trailer braking. My Volvo has the handle! Some folks think you can fix things (trailer coming around too fast?) Some think it’s something to use when you lose a steer. (Not me of course.)

Try you tube university!!!

One of the adjustments on the left side has three positions. No air, you can adjust manually, or auto inflate/deflate.

Which video?

From the way I understand it. You don’t get an actual owners manual anymore. (OR Maybe it costs $75. I forget). Think you should have a disc tho. OR Provided a hyperlink maybe

Guess it would be nice if someone responded.
Owners manual Video info may just cover the instructions for setting it up. May just want to call some salesman or someone on some help line?
Personally I think you should get real familiar with all the various options. Pop up windows n’ such. In the past I’ve enjoyed googling an error code which can provide a lot of info. Just a matter of tapping some switch & pressing a button more or less. (Thinking the seat is the same). Doesn’t seem something you would need to mess with often

You have an M button on your armrest?
No_Lawyer266@reddit (OP)
Nope, no M button on the driver seat armrest or passenger seat.

Must be on the dash. I’d watch the video/instruction book
