It's to make sure that when the recession hits, there are just enough non-whites to prevent another ***** ****** from rising to power. i'm not a communist and i didn't say "late stage capitalism". capitalism requires infinite growth to stay afloat. once that was no longer possible they started importing 3rd worlders to artificially grow the population and workforce, while not having to take on the economic burden of raising children (20 years of zero economic activity). (did you think the rich and powerful were doing it out of charity?)
capitalism was good at what it did for about 100 years, but at this point it has hit a wall where growth isn't possible or viable anymore. that's why they had to resort to immigration. america produces very little anymore. aside from food and natural resources, which are required industries for national security, almost everything you buy is built in china or a third world country. the american economy is just coasting on fumes from their previous success at this point.
what we need is a new economic system that is viable for the future. we cannot have a system that relies on infinite growth. we cannot have a system where all of the wealth goes to a small percentage of investors. look at the automation revolution. people are terrified of ai and automation taking their jobs. why? shouldn't dramatically less labor being required to run society be paradise? well no, because in our current economic system all that will happen is you will be fired the only people who will benefit from that are investors who will get bigger profits.
right wingers respond to any criticism of our economic system by just telling people things like "just get a better job" "just eat pb&j sandwiches until you can afford a starter house" instead of giving any practical changes and all they do with that is push people away into the arms of the communists. another thing is that right wingers think that "capitalism" just means trading things for money and when they hear that word their brain shuts down and starts repeating cold war propaganda that hasn't been relevant for 40 years.
i don't want communists anywhere near power, but the right wing offers zero alternative to normal people.

however you saying that capitalism relies on infinite growth (not true look at Japan they are shrinking and capitalism hasn't failed there) is impossible relies on an assumption that infinite growth is impossible in a finite world is simply not true. there is absolutely nothing in theory or in this world that stops an infinite system from existing. for example look up what the sum is of the infinite series of 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 etc.
communists offer nothing but promises and have failed every time they have tried. capitalists offer the most abundance any human in history has ever experienced
why not? what if that is actually the most efficient system? ever heard of the pareto principle? investors don't steal from the workers - they create wealth by investing in productive assets and keep a portion of it to themselves. you fundamentally do not understand how economics works.
the actual problem at the moment is that the west has built an unsustainable welfare state and left the tab to future generations, but they also never created enough of the future generation to pay for it all. unfortunately society will have to pay for the sins of the boomers and there is simply no way around it. certainly not communism.

Some people truly believe that the only way to have GDP growth and overall economic growth is to have continuous years of population growth.
Makes sense sort of in theory, except they never stopped to think about what would happen when the infrastructure and market cannot accommodate that growth, and if majority of the people they let in are working minimum wage jobs that end up causing wage suppression and a competitive job market for the citizens who could not get educated

Because many of them weren't legitimate international students, they were abusing the system as a means of immigration. They were going to diploma mill schools, sham schools or just forging acceptance letters entirely.
The Canadian economy has been basically teetering on the brink of a recession for years, only technically avoiding it because of being propped up by immigration. Cheap imported labour to suppress worker wages in order to keep businesses more profitable.

This is okay if and only if they keep this trend. Population growth needs to hit the negatives for at least 2 years to undo the overwhelming amount of people they let in.
