Pc freezes up completely when pluging in ssd

I have this strange issue where if i have the ssd properly plugged in with the sata and psu cables my pc starts up REALY slow like 2+ minutes where it usualy is like half a min, and it may not even start at all (just the asus logo or just a blank screen) .
I had to turn the psu off for a while for it to start, but when i unplug it (the ssd), everything just WORKS LIKE NORMAL????
And i also tried using a horrible sata to usb atapter and upon openning the drive in windows, everything, frezzes, tested this with a win 11 pc too, it did the same thing, slow boot and the total freeze.
Also the drive looks like the 1tb one this brand sells but the 960gb i have look NOTHING like that, so there is that too (i have yet to tear it down to make sure its not a knockoff, or they just stopped making it)
- SSD: Silicon Power S55 960GB
- Os: win 10 (the no longer supported one)
- mother board: Asus M510M-E
- cpu: intel i5 10600
- GPU: Nvidea rtx3060
- ram: 16 gigs (hyperx)
I realy need this thing alive again, any tips would help, and its obvious but i can't afford this death right now
