21-speed, 24” wheel

Hi, i am looking for a cheap mountain bike style ebike with 21-speed and 24” wheel. I cannot seem to find any.
I am 5’5” so I think all of the 26” wheels are too big for me.
I want 21 speed because I want to ride the bike as a bike. The electric portion will only be for the very steep hills near my home, which I would not be able to pedal up.
I will only ride sparingly. Maybe 10-30miles per year.

1x12 is the defacto modern standard for mtb speeds. you won't find a new 3x7

I actually just like the way mountain bikes look as I had one as a kid. Of course it was 3x7. Are other styles of bike more comfortable?

What this comment means is that they really don’t make 21 speed bikes anymore. Even a cheap Walmart bike is a single ring up front these days, 10-12 speed rear cassette. There are lots of mountain bike e-bikes, 24” wheel though is a kid’s size bike. That fit my kids until around age 8

I understood that. Do you recommend any particular brand for 1x12 mountain ebike in 24”?

I don’t, because I don’t think there is one. It’s a kids bike at that size

Other than the label of being a kids bike, what makes it a kid bike? Just the 24” wheel?

They are very small, they are designed for someone much shorter than you. As I’ve mentioned you will find an adult bike with a smaller frame to fit you better than a 24” bike.

I will do that. Thank you
