0.050 Undervolt unstable?

Hello !

I tried undervolting my computer as i'm getting crazy temps in UE5 games which wasnt the case before and using a mere 0.050 somehow makes me crash ? I have a i7-14700KF and I used to have a 0.050 undervolt before having to change due to a problem with wow.

What could I be missing for a previously used undervolt (which is afaik not even big) to not work anymore and close the game after a while ? I only changed the undervolt and the PL1 and PL2 to 160 and 210...

Do you mean that at undervolt the CPU, the games crash? You said right, 0,05 volt change is very small amount, it will not cause crash. What was the temp during playing? Maybe the fans are not working well?

Yeah exactly, Offset mode by CPU and set it at 0.050 and sadly after a while the game closes, it doesnt once I get it back to 0.030, the temps were lower than 0.030 at around 80-90 which is still a lot with very occasional spikes at 95°, before trying that I was averaging 90° with some spikes at 100° triggering some throttle according to Hwinfo, really dont know what to do at this point, maybe it's the paste but it's barely been 2 years yet
